The Crazy Clam is a great place to stop with friends. Boating or Driving they have parking for all. The price and the food are only matched by the Friendly Staff. You can eat inside, out of the heat or enjoy the view of the boats while dinning outside.

I'm all for second chances and will almost always give a place another shot if my first experience isn't ideal, but this place just kept adding insult to injury from the long wait to be seated to the horrible service and subpar food. I went on a week night for dinner and it didn't seem too crowded. The wait was... More

Great food and friendly service. Ate here in the afternoon and then ended up staying for dinner and entertainment later in the evening. They had a great band and we had a great time

Nice place has live entertainment on wkends. Not open in the winter. The food is good substantial servings and fairly priced. The service seems a little young and inexperienced but if ur not in a hurry its adequate.

This is a great casual restaurant in the heart of Sylvan Beach. If you're a boater, it's perfect, as you can tie up on the pier and it's right there. It's average in cleanliness. There is a designated bar area, and a couple of rooms where there are tables. They often have bands on weekend nights in the summer. I... More

food was not bad, we ordered a bunch of seafood appetizers and shared with all 4 of us. outdoor seating was mostly taken up by all the bikers and was right on the road and canal. might go back and give it another try

We went to Crazy Clam. Positives: Right in Sylvan Beach 4 beers and 40 clams for $20 Good beer Negatives: Have to pay for parking We also went to Gary's on the lake. You can go toward Veron state park and make a left along the lake. Dianna was the cook and has a great attitude. Everything is home made.... More

After a two hour drive we were hungry so we came here for lunch. The steamed clams you get a dozen for $9.00 were so good. I normally don't eat steamed clams but my boyfriend loves them and I have to say they were perfect. No sand, nice and tender. The Fried clams strips were definetly not out of the box... More

We went there on a cloudy and blustery spring night a few days ago. The restaurant is a bit dark inside, and the decor is a bit overcrowded with scallop shells and nautical kitsch. There is no good view of the famous Oneida Lake sunsets. OK - with that out of the way - we had steamers (clams) that were... More
