Nice dinner

Came here with some friends. Place is nice inside and the service is really good. Started with a pitcher of the white sangria and bit was tasty. My wife and friend had the chicken fajita and it was good with a nice portion. I had the cheese stuff steak and it was perfectly cooked.

Took the opportunity to visit this restaurant, the reviews definitely were important in our decision. We were greeted at the door like old friends, quickly seated and served some of the most delicious marguaritas! We selected different dishes and they were all wonderful. A must try!

This is our local favorite Mexican restaurant. We have been loyal customers since the first (Suffern) Tequila Sal y Limon opened--now there are 3 branches. The food is a cut above the average Mexican fare. Good, fresh ingredients. Salsa is delicious as is the sangria! I have never had a bad meal here. The service is attentive and caring.

Have been here with friends a few times over the years. Food is fresh, generous and tasty. Staff is pleasant and helpful. My favorite dish is chimichangas, crispy outside with tender fillings. Yummy rice and refried beans. Desserts are lovely. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite mexican restaurants. The guacamole is always perfectly seasoned and fresh! The chips and salsa and served warm and the salsa is refreshing with just the right kick to it. The food is hot, fresh and made to order. Portions are generous and not always your typical dishes. Large menu with many choices to pick... More

What a pleasant surprise when we walked into this restaurant. It's warm and nicely decorated. Calm Mexican music helps create a relaxing atmosphere. Service was attentive and food was promptly served. Enchiladas tamales and chimichangas were all delicious. Portions are very nice and the main courses come with Mexican rice and retried beans. We will definitely be back.

We love Mexican food, though much is tasteless and dumbed down for the American palette. Tequilla Sal y Limon is a cut above, though not perfect. The margarita's are quite good, and have a kick. The chips and salsa are very nice. They have some dishes that aren't your typical enchiladas and I suggest you go there. The shrimp dish... More

The food here is good. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is the size of a matchbox, and can get cramped. Prime time waits are typically 20 minutes, but there's really no place to wait so the entry gets really cramped. At an off time, this could be very good place. At prime time, prepare to feel like a... More

We had dinner here again last night. My date had the shrimp fajitas and I had the vegetable burritos combination plate. Both were excellent. Sometimes I get the Mole Poblano with chicken-also fabulous! The chips and salsa to start are always warm chips and freshly made salsa. The interior is interesting-the restaurant feels like it was originally designed to be... More
