I found this restaurant on TA when looking for a place for 4 couples to meet that was mid-way between our home in Westchester and their hotel about 20 minutes north of Woodbury Commons. Owner/chef Marcello went to all tables speaking with everyone which was very interesting. Extensive menu with lots of great choices. My husband & I shared the... More

We made very good experience at Marcello's. The lunch was very fresh and delicious, especially the spicy pasta sauces. We loved it! The service was amazing and we met also Marcello, who told us a lot of Italy.

There are so few restaurants outside of Manhattan that are worth the trip. I have never had a disappointing meal nor a bad glass of wine at Marcello's. Marcello always uses fresh quality ingredients and makes fairly classic Italian food. It is always my go to place to meet a good friend who lives near by. I used to go... More

The quality of the food along with the service is top notch. I hadn't been to the restaurant in quite some time and many of the same staff is still there. To me that speaks volumes. Won't stay away now that I have rediscovered this five star restaurant close to home.

My wife and I made last-minute plans for a "date night" and we wanted to try Marcello's. She is currently avoiding soy and dairy due to an allergy of our three-month old son. Marcello personally came out to our table to discuss the dishes he could make for her. It turns out a competent chef can make anything taste amazing... More

Wonderful food and wonderful dining as always. Everything we ordered was delicious from start to finish. The knowledgable and friendly wait staff are always a delight and Chef Marcello finished off a perfect evening by greeting us in the dining room and graciously celebrating a birthday with us. Couldn't ask for a better dining experience.

Recently enjoyed a wonderful family dinner at Marcello's Ristorante. Loved the varied and authentic items on the menu, albeit not the menu itself (needs a makeover as it's a tough read). To my delight, the salsiccia di cinghiale (wild boar sausage), in a fig chutney, served with broccoli rabe and crispy polenta - was as good as we had in... More

After 3 canceled getaways, my wife and I finally found ourselves alone on a much-needed overnight vacation. The problem: we were staying in an unfamiliar town in North Jersey with zero knowledge of the local restaurants. We're both of Italian descent, so you can imagine food is a focal point of our lives. I searched the web intensely for a... More

Hadn't been to Marcello's in over 20 years. This is a high end restaurant sitting in a town with many pub style and mexican fooderies. Used a groupon as the economy must have affected this slick New York style Italian & Continental restaurant. Once in a while its nice to experience top level service, great tasting dishes, in a high... More

Very attentive staff, both owners and chef came over to our table to introduce themselves. Very nice menu - food was delicious. Will definitely go back.
