Not Bad

We've been here many times and it is one of the better Indian restaurants in the Rockland County, NY/Northern, NJ area. My wife and I have been patronizing this typical and longstanding Indian restaurant just over the NY border in Suffern, for many years. Unfortunately, the place has gone downhill to the point where the dishes we ordered tonight lacked any spice or hotness. Partly it is our own fault for not specifying that we wanted our food at medium heat,... More

Everything we've tried we liked, yes the atmosphere is boring but it's relaxing and quiet. Although it was pretty packed on a Sat night but if you like quiet go on a week night.

This restaurant is pretty good place. Food is good and my husband and I always enjoy it. It's actually our "go-to" restaurant when the kids are away. We love it. Strangely though, it seems the place is always empty. I've never seen it busy or crowded. Could be that since it's surrounded by many other types of restaurants, it doesn't... More

The food here is actually quite good, but it must be the most boring restaurant ever. The decor is old and dusty, the music tired, the staff slow. I suggest takeout instead of eating in. You get the food, and you can create your own atmosphere.

We have been eating at Jade Bistro and its pre-renovation predecessor for more than 20 years. We eagerly awaited their return after renovations and continued to enjoy the food. But recently they changed management and the food is going downhill. Greasy and causing a headache, even when we say "no MSG." Our friendship is over.

There for birthday dinner and food served family style. Portions were small and everything else very average. Unlikely that we will return.

I'm the only one in my household who likes Indian food, so I stop by Priya every so often to get my fix as a takeout order. The decor could use a slight update, but the friendliness of the owner and wait staff and of course the food make that a non-issue for me. Yes, it's a little pricey but... More

I took my son and a friend of his from Finland to dinner. My son and I have been here before. It was good and the price is a bit high but I will tell you it is worth it. Be careful your eyes may be bigger than your stomach. The portions are tooooo big. The food is amazing. I... More
