Suffern Sushi Standout

If you want great sushi in the Mahwah-Suffern-Sloatsburg area, Jade should be on your list. The rolls are always great, the prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly. In addition to sushi, we've tried the Pad Thai and have been very happy as well.

Never disappointing and always delivers. Everything is delicious and timely. Great local favorite spot; clean and nice decor. Thai soup is excellent; lobster salad is wonderful.

This used to be a top-notch Chinese restaurant, but has morphed over the years into a Sushi bar and the classic Chinese dishes have taken a back seat. Even the few classic Chinese dishes remaining on the menu are not as good as they had been and we have all but stopped going here, as there are better choices in... More

It is a nice place . It has been there for years. The food is good. It is consistent. The servers were very nice and pleasant. They charge for the noodles which are normally free and given to you when you sit down The food was reasonably Priced.

First off the food was good. The wait staff pleasant & efficient. The dining room is lovely and clean. A nice atmosphere. The down side for me was that I was turned off by the lack of usually included items in the meal. They provide no noodles for snacking while waiting for your meal. I love those noodles w/the sweet... As a group of 6 we were here for lunch and I ordered the "Orange Beef" which was a battered beef with a thick sauce, fresh orange zest and dried whole chili's and brown rice (can also be ordered with white rice). The staff was super friendly and very helpful in choosing the right dish. Although I didn't take a... More

This is a great Asian Restaurant where you can get all kinds of Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food options. The dining room is nicely decorated with many wood accents and the wait staff is always pleasant and helpful. The food is always great and the menu has some unique fare. A must try is the Thai Soup, its awesome!

The service was very pleasant and attentive. We had sushi rolls, the fried calamari app, and dessert. The sushi rolls were delicious. Fresh flavorful fish, and the spicy red devil roll was actually spicy (I'm Asian). The fried calamari was rubbery and not great, but the tangy dipping sauce was INCREDIBLE. The waitress couldn't give us the recipe because it... More

We stopped in here because at the very last minute, we didn't want Mexican, which Suffern is known for... We stepped into a classic old style Chinese restaurant (ornate chairs, full bar). We proceeded to order an egg roll and steamed pork dumplings...both of which arrived home made and extremely fresh.... We followed the appetizers with two noodle entrees that... More
