I recently enjoyed a nice afternoon tea here with five friends from my book club. We all chose different teas (so many choices) and all of us enjoyed our choices from the extensive list. The meal was served on three-tier trays - scones on the first (raisin and cinnamon) with clotted cream and jam, small sandwiches on the second (shrimp... More

Robinson's Tea Room is a nice spot that has a amazing selection of delicious teas. I mean, if you like teas, then this is the place for you! Yummy scones!!! The butterscotch pecan scone and the raisin scone, both served warm with cream and jam and wow were they delicious. The place is a bit on the small side, and... More

Have had lunch here on several occasions and it never disappoints. The owners and staff are so pleasant and the food never disappoints. In fact, my son planned his prom invite around this restaurant and they were so helpful with orchestrating the whole thing. They have a great selection of teas and the best, best scones with creamed butter but... More

I've never been moved to write a review before this afternoon. While I travel and dine with great enjoyment wherever I go, my visit to Robinson's Tea Room today was such a memorable experience that I just had to say a few words. The atmosphere was beyond cozy and comfortable and charming...very casual and understated, but with lots of character.... More

Not only is the place covered with dust, the servers are also filthy. The board of health should really look into this place. Our server was in what seemed like dirty clothes and then when our table was cleared, the person looked like he just finished changing the oil from under his car. We took our food to go and... More

If you like scones and all sorts of teas, then this is the place for you. Although they do have a great menu for lunch foods too. Lovely atmosphere, attentive waitress. On the small side, a little cramped but overall very nice experience.

My wife Theresa and I ate there Friday 4/4/2014 for her first day of retirement and enjoyed every minute. I had the Chicken Pot Pie perfect in every way. Flakely, meaty and seasoned just right. My wife had the daily special Broccoli & Cheese Quiche. Both come with a salad of very fresh greens. She said it was the best quiche... More

This was my second visit. This place is small but very comfortable and cozy. Service is excellent and the owners are very present and friendly. I was with my Mom and we had a lovely time. We had grilled chicken platter (very generous portion). It was served over a delicious salad and decorated with an edible orchid. Certainly a great... More

If you are ever in the Stony Brook Village area with the girls you must stop here. Although it looks like they have a full breakfast and lunch menu, it's a great place to sit over a pot of tea, and fresh baked scones. There are always different specials on the menu. It is a cozy ( small ) place.... More

Although this place has a very good reputation for their food, I would not recommend this establishment for their customer service. I had made a reservation 2 weeks prior for high tea and my friend and I were sat in this tiny little corner. Not knowing that my seat was directly behind the bathroom since there was a peg board...
