Incredible food, good service, and a value. This Staten Island gem is the oldest restaurant on the island, and there is a reason for its longevity. The owner personally shops for food and serves large portions that are fresh and delicious. The Pork Osso Bucco is fantastic!!

We literally found this great place because another place we had picked had a wait oh an hour and half for a table. We pulled in and got a table for five in a corner of the dining room. What fantasic dishes , everyone in our party loved the food. Service was a delight. We most definately plan to return.

The food is always fresh and prepared very well. You can taste the freshness in the pasta sauces. In the fall, they grow their own pumpkins for pumpkin soup; I even give up the delicious pasta fagioli for it. The owner is very personable and the staff is very friendly and efficient. They are closed for the winter until March... More

We've been going to Basilio's for more than 30 years. It used to be open only in warm weather, but some years ago, they added a heating system for the dining room and it now stays open. Located on a little dead-end street about 3 minutes from the Staten Island side of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, you will be dining... More

My friends and I celebrated one of our birthdays there this year and last year also. Since she lives in Staten Island we took the short trip over the Verrazano. The quaint restaurant is only a few minutes from the bridge literally! We all had something different and we all were equally satisfied. I had a calamari casserole in sauce... More

Basilio Inn has been around for a very long time. As a high school student, the local bus would pass it everyday. Once inside, you are greeted by the owner, Mauritizio, a very friendly and pleasant man. The menu is superb. We dined on the Cioppino, and I'll tell you, it is just WONDERFUL!!! Other items on the menu include... More

We were staying at the Navy Lodge on Staten Island and Basilio's was recommended. Not knowing their hours, we showed up after 7:30 pm and were about to leave since they close at 8. The manager came outside and assured us that they would gladly accommodate us. The meal was delicious and the manager came over to chat with us... More

There's a lot of history to this place. It use to be a boarding house in the early 1900's. Its near the beach so they rented rooms and served meals in the dining room. They stopped renting rooms years ago. They have a bocce court outside, they grow fresh basiland herbs. The outdoor seating is under their grape vines. The... More

Very historical and different. Simply if you like ousso Buco this is the place to go! Wine list is pretty decent, rest of the menu/dishes are your normal Italian
