Lamb chops I had tasted great but the sauce eclipsed the flavor of the lamb. It could have been pork and would have tasted the same. more

Carol's is the the best restaurant in Staten Island, for those who appreciate good food and wine. She is a talented chef, and eating in her restaurant is a pure treat or myself and my husband. I couldn't possibly enjoy the food after the owner, Carol, came out of the kitchen and admonished me in front of the entire dining room because I wanted the price fixe menu and the appetizer was mussels, which I am unable to eat. I wanted to walk out, but my dining partner was too embarrassed (imagine how I felt!). more
