Love the beer garden

Love going here in the summer or when yue weather permits. Huge beer garden in back. Some of the kielbasa ive eaten and i love their sauerkraut. They also carry a grapefruit beer. Not a high alcohol content but i still enjoy..

Food like grandma use to make. Feels like I'm back home. Love that you can get good german food on Staten Island. One of my favorite restaurants to go to.

Great sauerbraten and beer. I also had potato pancakes and hot pretzels, both great. They have quite a few different types of beer and they let you sample if you're not familiar with it.

I live near this place and never went before. Last night my wife and I went for dinner. We were seated quickly but it was a Wednesday night and pretty empty. However, the waitress was very friendly. You can't fake a personality like that and I do believes she would be as good if the place was packed. The food... More

I've been going to this restaurant since before it was Killmeyer's. For the history buffs it used to be the Century Inn, notorious for live Metal Bands and Turtle Races (Yes live bands and real live turtles!). But the hand carved bar imported from Europe (Bavaria) always impressed and thankfully it is the centerpiece of Killmeyer's. Octoberfest just started last... More

If your in Staten Island you have to stop by this place. It's not what it appears to be from the outside. Not your typical place for the surrounding area. A breathe of fresh air. Food is great. The selection of German beer is great. I can't explain how cool this place is. It's great to go out with a... More

We waited 15 to be seated and the place was Empty. We had requested to be seated outside it was 6:00pm. The waitress told us that if we do don't finish dinner by 7:00pm there would be a $5:00 band surcharge. NUTS! After we were seated indoors we waited 15 minutes before a waitress asked if we wanted a drink.... More

I have been going to this restaurant for over 13 years. Usually we have a wonderful experience and the food is good, but tonight we had the strangest experience ever. The entire wait staff was new to us and when we ordered our meal we had a valid complaint. The potato pancakes were extremely peppery and the entire group could... More

Except for the very friendly and accommodating waitress, I would give this place an "F" grade. The inside main dining area is rundown and from the year of the flood, and not Sandy. I ordered a hamburger platter and the roll was stale. My waitress provided me with 2 slices of pumpernickel bread for my burger, upon request, but that... More
