Came to the island from the far South on a business trip and locals took us all to Lacey's. The very first place for me to eat in New York. I'd come back in a NY minute. Food great. Drink great. Staff great. Atmosphere great. Enjoyed the whole evening. Want to feel like a local? Make Lacey's a stop on... More

This is one of those best kept secrets. You pull up and it looks like a dumpy bar. You walk in and it's a bar BUT walk to the back and there are tables tucked in a small room..decor is neat and clean. Food is served family style..huge portions..one dish is better than the next. Including massive desserts. It's worth... More

We frequently go to this restaurant with 14 to 15 family members. I am glad I got to review the restaurant on this site to let the rest of Staten Island know what a great place this is. We order family style overtime and the waitresses are great with their recommendations. Twe typically get 10 items from each menu a... More

After being recommended to try it I finally got there this weekend and it was excellent! The minute you walk in the door it's such a homey feel, very casual and comfortable. The waitress was more than helpful when she heard it was our first time there. Dinner for 4 we started with a hot antipasto: the baked clams were... More

Comfort style food, large portions, and very reasonably priced! You can't beat it! You will never walk away hungry.

If anyone told you to go here and you pulled up outside, you first thought would be REALLY? It looks like an "old man's bar" but just go right in!!I have been wanting to go to Lacey's for the past year and we finally went.... DELICIOUS!!! The worst part is having to make a selection, there is just so many... More

A friend told me about this amazing restaurant, and at first I was a little skeptical. It's not flashy or over the top, I guess it's what could be called a "hole in the wall." The kitchen looks so tiny you wonder how the chefs get anything done, but boy, do they get things done. I've thought about embarrassing myself... More

An amazing family style restaurant with ice cold beer, delicious appetizers and huge portions of family style food. Famous for Kielbasa, meatloaf, Chicken Sidestreet and a Parmigiana Sampler that will make you drool!!! Great staff. Historic place with old pics & movie posters hanging. Not a trendy, pretentious spot. This is authentic NY tavern, family style dining. We go once... More
