I came here years ago, when it was a local bar. A small restaurant with a wonderful menu. My wife and I shared the Homemade Guacamole (Yumm!!) and I had the Seafood Avocado (wonderful). I would definitely come again, though it was a bit loud this time, with 1 or 2 big parties going on inside this small dining area.

First, I can't overstate just how friendly the staff here was! Very helpful and quick with suggestions. We didn't feel rushed and they anticipated just about everything, so we didn't have to ask for anything. The only negative was that some of our dishes were very tasty and some were disappointing. The members in our group that ordered steak or... More

Best Spanish food in NYC. Worth the trip to Staten Island. Walk from the ferry, right off of bay street. The restaurant is small so reservations are necessary. The food and service is outstanding. Highly recommend!!

I guess like many tourists, we took the Staten Island ferry from Manhattan to Staten Island as it's free and gives you a good view of the Statue of Liberty on your way. Of course, you can just turn right around and go straight back, but we decided to time things to eat lunch and found this place not too... More

I came here with my my family (there were a total of 6 of us). I loved the atmosphere from the second I walked into the restaurant. I no longer felt like I was in Staten Island. I will say, this restaurant is small, but it adds to the charm. Everyone from the bartender (Rich) to our waitress and the... More

Very nice atmosphere in a small cozy place. The Tapas are to die for and so are the drinks. Reasonable prices.

When you go in.......seems like a nice atmospheric restaurant .... but the fantasy stops there.... Some tables are too close to each other. Staff not trained to have a conversation with the customer.... if they don't have what you want,,,,,, that's it..... stone silence.... only one soup on the day... .. really? Surely gazpacho would be a stable in any... More

Great dining experience. I love the baby lamb chops and the tuna dish for tapas. The red sangria is one of the best that I have ever had. I love going to Beso, and will never pass up the opportunity to dine there.
