We had been here 4 months ago during a restaurant crawl with friends, as well as a few years ago with family. We returned as part of our month-long celebration of my bride's birthday. Not overly hungry I dove into their Seafood Avocado, sans appetizers. It's a bed of penne in a creamy Alfredo and Avocado sauce topped with clams,... More

We found this place when we decided to stop off in Staten Island for an hour or two. It is very reserved from the outside and looks closed but inside is a little Spanish haven! The tapas are interesting and have a twist from the traditional but really tasty.

As Beso implies, this small restaurant got you hooked on your lips. The best Paella this side of Spain, and the Sangria, balanced and chilled gives you the right kick. The tapas are excellent. The staff, always there to bring anything, together with a great smile. Very convenient to our tourists that comes in the ferry from the city to... More

This place is one of Staten Islands best restaurants. Always crowded. Make a reservation. Best time to go is Sunday night. The taste of the food is so good you will think its home cooked in Spain. Prices are very reasonable for food of this quality.

My friends and I adore this place right in our St George neighborhood. I recommend the guacamole and chips and berry sangria. Paella is yummy too. There are not many tables but it is cute and cozy with attentive staff. We usually walk from our apartment nearby but if you drive be aware that parking can be difficult. However it... More

Nice restaurant tucked away on a side block right across from the courthouse on SI. Right around the corner from the SI Yankee stadium. Prompt/Friendly service, GREAT sangria and the Paella was very tasty and the portion was plentiful. Not a big dining area but the atmosphere is nice, very comfortable. Next time I'm passing though the St. George area... More

This is my favorite restaurant on Staten Island and not just because it is a former underage college bar "Sidestreets." You must, must, must get TAPAS. The menu has changed over the years to suit what is fresh on the palates of the guests. The best here is: the lamb chops, the guacamole (so fresh), the berry sangria, and I... More

Food & service, one of our best restaurant in Staten Island. The bar area, were we some times sit, while we wait for a table, is always fun, drinks great, meet some very nice people there. My husband and I, go there on Saturday evenings, and theirs about hour wait for a table, but its worth the wait. If anyone... More

I recently traveled to NYC with my girlfriend for a few days of vacation & upon hearing about Beso, my girlfriend made it a point we stopped by. We took the free ferry to Staten Island from Manhattan and walked about 300 yards total from the Staten Island ferry terminal to the restaurant doors. We were struck by the ambiance,... More
