The food is outstanding and the service fantastic! Great wine list too. The place is really small and can get crowded fast, please reserve ahead. Parking also can be tricky but this restaurant is absolutely worth and I will definitely go back!!

Enoteca Maria is an unique place where every night you can taste the good and simple food cooked by one of the Italian grand mothers that have chosen to cook there because they like it.... I have never been in place like this, it a place to keep alive tradition, to keep the memory of the old recipes.. I have... More

First of all, when I made the reservation, I was NOT told it was CASH only. good that when we counted our cash, luckily we had $120.00. Normally we do not carry cash. From NJ, the bridge coast $13 plus 3 hours parking at the nearby parking lot was $8.00. We arrived at 3:30, they open at 3PM. We ordered... More

Love this place! Reminds me of dinner at my grandmothers. The different chefs each night specializing in the food of their Italian region is such a delight. Not much on space, but the perfect place for a romantic meal .

We had taken the ferry boat over to Station Island for a visit and had decided to eat lunch. Since it was just after 3 pm there we´re not many places open. The one we found looked sort of genunie, but we where soo fooled. Really really bad bad experience. I ordered a pasta with meat, it did not only... More

This is the must stop eatery in NYC. The food is excellent and Jody and his staff will make you feel like family. The small space can get fairly loud but that just adds to the "family around the table" atmosphere. Seating is quite limited so be sure to call in advance. If there are three or less consider sitting... More

I believe Enoteca is a one of a kind of restaurant, not only for its home style cooking but also as to, how one arrives at its door. Restaurant is located on Staten Island and is in walking distance from the Staten Island ferry--- which is free. Opens at 3 PM and not open on Monday and Tuesdays. Insides somewhat... More

This was our second visit to Enoteca Maria....service was unfailingly attentive by Melissa......food was so good! We had baked clams as an app.....entrees were the artichoke ravioli with a meat sauce and the veal with artichokes......all delicious....portions were good sized. As a dessert we shared the Napoleon.....wish I had ordered my own! Expresso with Sambucca......Sambucca placed on the table to... More

We took a ferry to Staten Island on Saturday afternoon and wanted to get late lunch. Enoteca Maria was just about to open (3:00 pm) so we went in. We shared prosciutto ham with pineapple as a starter and for the main course we had linguini aglio olio and lasagne. Everything tasted fresh and good. There was also house appetizer... More
