Returning to this landmark after a year, it was like coming into your mothers kitchen. The service is great, the varied menu including great sides, prices are superb for the value. It was a great evening.

First of all i would like to say that i expected a lot better quality and service with what we had purchased ! We arrived a little early and once we were set down for our meal we were handed greasy menus with soft butter very visible but were given to us any way, after explaining this to the waitress... More

Since the Moore family bought the Red Osier, it's reputation as a top-notch restaurant has only grown. We've been eating there for (literally) decades, and still find it to be worth the drive as the very best prime rib/steakhouse between ROC and BUF. In recent years, the menu has expanded to suit more varied tastes, but the quality hasn't changed.... More

We have been going to the Red Osier for over 35 years. It is one of our very favorite spots to take guests as well as just going for a night out. From start to finish our meal has always been cooked to perfection and if there has been a problem with maybe the doneness of our meat, it was... More

My family has been coming to the Red Osier for special occasions for about 30 years. We have never had a bad meal, bad service, or a bad experience here. Today, we decided to take mom there for a late mother's day lunch. We had reservations for 145p, and the place was packed upon our arrival. We were seated right... More

Great setting with friendly and very competent staff. From lobster bisque, to lovely spinach salad, and warm rolls to an entree of Prime Ribs that was perfectly cooked and carved at table side made for an evening to remember -- just right for my wife's birthday. The pace of service was just perfect. We talked briefly with the owner Bob aka... More

Fabulous restaurant, famous for their Prime Rib, in the country, Stafford, New York, between Batavia and Le Roy. They have been in business for 34 years. We discovered this gem about 20 years ago, by accident when we were "camping" in our motor home just outside Le Roy (the birth place of Jell-O gelatin dessert). The campground manager recommended it... More

Red Osier has long been know in the western ny area as the placenfor great beef. It is located in the middle of nowhere but worth the trip. It is a bit pricey, but the beef is worth it. They do have early bird specials for dinner, which helps with the budget minded. But the real hidden secret of Red... More

We went out to the Red Osier in Stafford tonight to meet up with some family members. This is the best know restaurant in the area, specializing in prime rib and other beefy meals. Since we are not really beef eaters, I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of other nice entrees on the dinner menu. The prices were... More
