Quaint. Very homey. Omlets with bree, bacon and scallions were incredibly fresh tasting. Blueberry pancakes huge, and delicious. Very friendly and accommodating service. Spent 120$ for four adults and four kids

Tasty food, good service, reasonable prices, a cut above the usual breakfast and lunch place, especially on the North Fork.

One of our favorite go to breakfast place. The staff is attentive, very busy but worth the wait, quick turnover and a great selection of staple and special items. The omelettes and breakfast burritos are delicious

Standard pricing for sandwiches are doubled when you order French fries with it. It's standard luncheonette fare but lunch for two with a soda is going to cost you $50.

I have had both breakfast and lunch here, usually off the specials board and I have never been disappointed. Good, central location.

For a long time, I have been unable to get a decent hamburger (other than from my own grill). The Main Street Grill not only produced a great burger, it was actually as ordered, rare. The fries were like those shoe string fries of my youth. My wife had the Rueben and it was perhaps the best example I have... More

This unimpressive location and slightly rundown interior conceals some of the best food in Southold. Only open for breakfast and lunch, huge portions, well-conceived sandwiches and excellent French fries. Not cheap, but an excellent value. The chef-owner is a CIA grad and it shows. Easy to drive past unnoticed, but there's paring in the back.

Right on Main Street - have breakfast or lunch and then take a walk through town afterwards. When the waitress tells you the pancakes are big....believe it! Small, not fancy, decorated with a down-home touch....with friendly service to match.

We searched for a breakfast place on our way back from Shelter Island and saw the sign out front and felt welcomed to what seemed to be and was a home made breakfast. Not only were the people friendly; the staff kind and accommodating, the food was scrumptious! I ordered the bacon, green onion and brie omelet withOUT the bacon,... More
