Good Burger!

We were in Greenport July 4th to see the tall ship festival. The restaurants in town weren't too receptive to the extra diners so we had a tough time finding a place to have dinner. I remembered passing Omally's on my trips to Orient Point and it wasn't far, so we went there. Didn't know what to... read more

Good food, large portions. Ambience leaves something to be desired, but if you're hungry, the steaks are terrific.

The first O'Mally's was on the south folk in East Hampton, that was always filled with dinner's. So, the owner tried his luck and opened this O'Mally's on the road leading to the Ferry to New London. The food was always good and under the new owner (a few months) it still is good and fast. We stopped returning from... More

I have been eating at this restaurant for years, so you can imagine my shock when the cozy, NoFo-style restaurant was turned into a paper table cloth, white walled diner. It was like they took the soul out of the restaurant, which is a real shame. The past owners ended up finally selling the place. However, the core staff is... More

We were greeted right away and seated by the window. As the sun went down that created a problem as the sun was in someone's eyes during most of the meal. Next time I would ask to be seated in another area or visit at a different time of day. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. It was... More

I've eaten here many times and the food is always good for the price. Nothing extraordinary, but never bad. I write now because clearly the "bacon cheeseburger without the bun and mashed potatoes instead of fries" takeout order proved too much a task for someone there, because I got home 20 minutes later with a bacon burger on a bun... I've visited O'Mally's on many occasions. It's a staple in Southold. They have a bar where you can order drinks and light fare. The bartender is always ready to talk. O'Mally's recently underwent a change in ownership. The new owner has done some redecorating, but the overall feeling of the place has not changed, and the more traditional items on... More

A landmark restaurant for locals and those passing by on the ferry route, O'Mally's is now even better. Not only is the decor and seating area less cluttered, but the food is better. There are the same excellent burgers but fresher vegetables. This family friendly restaurant is even better. New owner Steve has added some Greek touches to the already... More

In this area, when Peconic Bay scallops are fresh and plentiful, they're serving sea scallops - some kind of "dried" it was explained to me. Manager said bay scallops were "cost prohibitive" and yet they're available in most other local restaurants. I sent it back to the kitchen, even the linguine the sea scallops were served on was overcooked and... More
