Back on the North Fork for summer and went to Pepi's. As soon as we walked in we noticed the place had been nicely repainted but it had no energy. Pepi was gone, the hostess was watching TV. I asked if Pepi had sold the place and was told they opened a new restaurant but it was still the same... more

Recently returned from Pepi's this past Sunday night and the food was far below average, the sauce tasted straight out of a jar and I have to say that the Veal Parm. was one of the worst I have ever tasted, no wonder Restaurant.com gives out a $15.00 discount. Pepis is average at best but overpriced for what you are served, 21$ for Veal Parm with some spagehtti underneath. The menu is straightfoward American Italian, lots of red sauce. The food has no distinction. Service is casual-why go-maybe to sit on the deck over the water. The indoor section is small and lack luster. I see no reason to... more

My wife and I have dinner out every week.on eastern Long Island. We have eaten from Montauk to Westhampton and I must say that Pepi's was the worst dining experience we had all summer.
