The place is well known for its sea food. I was a bit disappointed as I found my meal rather average.

Doug G is a great chef, the best fish ends up in his kitchen and he makes fantastic dishes with it. We send all our friends and guests there before anywhere else, no one has ever been dissatisfied. It is a no brainer!

My wife & I have a "weekend" house out here in Southampton. We were married here. We invited my wife's maid of honor & longtime friend out to the plaza cafe where we frequently go. As usual, the food as well as the service was top notch. There is no wonder the Plaza is considered one of the top 3... More

We had the most delicious lobster shepard's pie! What a treat! The wait staff were amazing. The wine recommended was from a local vineyard and we loved it. A perfect evening!

Food was undercooked, extremely expensive, bland atmosphere, charged $4.00 to taste a wine. I wouldn't mind paying the money for a great experience and great food; however, this was neither!

We had reservation for 15 on a Saturday. The group was seated relatively promptly, though they understandingly could not have as all at one table. We opted for the prefix menu, which was well composed. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed their meal. All in all, a good time.

Everything was excellent. The staff is first rate and well trained, the food was exceptional ( the sauce on the cod was the best we ever had), the chef came out to see how everyone was doing, the menu was varied, the atmosphere was great and they were very accommodating with our reservation. It's one of the few restaurants that... More

My husband and I had a peaceful Sunday dinner at the Plaza Cafe. The one-room cafe was prettily decorated in shades of blue with lit candles on every table. We ordered from the Prix Fixe Menu: He had the organic field greens, flat iron steak, and apple-pecan cake; I ordered the lobster corn chowder, horseradish crusted cod, and creme brulee.... More

Disappointed with the quality of food and service. Would not recommend at all. Wine list limited and menu is ordinary. Overpriced!

We have a second home in Southampton, & discovered this Resturant 2 years ago. It is a gem! Food, service, atmosphere...all very nice. We will continue to return, & urge you to try it also. Enjoy...
