After a day of hanging out at Cooper's Beach, my wife, dog, and I were famished. We proceeded to main st to find an establishment that could accommodate our needs. To my surprise, there wasn't many pet friendly restaurants especially with great food. Le Chef was the best of both worlds. The food was great and the staff was very... More

many gray and white haired folks enjoy this dated but popular restaurant. It's fine, not great. SO, don't race there for a meal.

We enjoy meeting clients for lunch @leChef - it's not the newest place in town but it's consistently delicious, fresh and frankly - easy. The waitstaff is professional and personal not at all haughty or affected and the food is usually yummy - also portions are generous.

Very, very nice. Not flashy, just solid. Go & enjoy, you will not be disappointed. Le Chef will also not put you in the poor house.

This is one of those restaurants that is consistently good across many menu items, meals (lunch, dinner), and time. We first went years ago, and even the olive oil they used stood out. We recently had a late lunch / early dinner on the $30 prix fixe menu. This started with a generous bowl of (excellent) vegetarian vegetable soup, pasta... More

Year in, year out, there are always new restaurants that last a season, or so, then there are spots like Le Chef, that have stood the test of time. Le Chef is a cozy inviting spot, be it an escape from the hustle and bustle of the summer crowds, or a refuge on a cold bitter evening. The food here... More
