When in doubt, order the SPLAT for two. No need for apps or dessert. The SPLAT is our healthy go to for clean steamed shellfish with extra lemons and limes. Always steamed perfectly, and with the right amount of napkins and wet naps. It's a New England (Maine) feel type of restaurant on the water, so don't expect the high... More

The Lobster Grille has a great bay-side location, right off of 27/39 on the eastbound side. As long as it's thursday-sunday, you can get fine local catch, a locals-heavy bar scene and modest pricing and casual atmosphere.

I am writing this for customers as well as the restaurants benefit. We started by sitting down and finding dirty silver.... this can be easily checked. Also one of the plates we got had a chip missing..... these are easy things that can be fixed... and can lead to a bad opinion from the start. It was Easter and the... More

I went to college around the corner from this place - in the early 80's. I liked to take my family there when they visited, it looked EXACTLY the same then, only the wait staff have changed. The menu is very limited, very expensive and not all that good. The atmosphere is dated and tired. It is very expensive, costing... More

Hey! Great lobsters and delicious steak served in a friendly family atmosphere. Run by a local restaurant/caterer with a great reputation. The old water front building has a plenty of atmosphere. Watch out though because the booth seating by the windows is very tight in case you are a person of some girth.

The only good feature of this restaurant is that it is conveniently located as you exit Southampton. Other than that, the lobster rolls had hardly any lobster, mostly filler. The other meals were okay but not great. Would not go back again.

We visited the weekend before Labor Day on the way back from Montauk for lunch, and it was not crowded. Over the years we have been pretty faithful, and looking forward to it going out or returning, even after they rammed the no-left highway access through. We ordered lobster rolls, and it was the worst - I mean it was... More

Gave it a 2 only because of the service (average+). Food was below par. I'd expected great seafood and was not rewarded. There's a first & frankly a last time for everything-place.

I wouldn't have minded driving out of town to eat at this restaurant given that it is a bit challenging to return to Southampton (you can't turn left out of the restaurant). Upon entering my gut screamed 'leave now'. It looked dirty and I had the sense that it would not be a good meal. I was hoping for some... More
