Hey! Great lobsters and delicious steak served in a friendly family atmosphere. Run by a local restaurant/caterer with a great reputation. The old water front building has a plenty of atmosphere. Watch out though because the booth seating by the windows is very tight in case you are a person of some girth.

The only good feature of this restaurant is that it is conveniently located as you exit Southampton. Other than that, the lobster rolls had hardly any lobster, mostly filler. The other meals were okay but not great. Would not go back again.

We visited the weekend before Labor Day on the way back from Montauk for lunch, and it was not crowded. Over the years we have been pretty faithful, and looking forward to it going out or returning, even after they rammed the no-left highway access through. We ordered lobster rolls, and it was the worst - I mean it was... More

Gave it a 2 only because of the service (average+). Food was below par. I'd expected great seafood and was not rewarded. There's a first & frankly a last time for everything-place.

I wouldn't have minded driving out of town to eat at this restaurant given that it is a bit challenging to return to Southampton (you can't turn left out of the restaurant). Upon entering my gut screamed 'leave now'. It looked dirty and I had the sense that it would not be a good meal. I was hoping for some... More

Good appetizers. Dinner-Lobsters were dry and very overcooked. So were the stuffed shrimp. Not good. Service was average at best. We were constantly trying to find our server and were usually helped by the busser. Ill spend my money elsewhere next time.

This restaurant offered a great special on Thursday Evening. They call it Cull Special, which I learned is double the lobster minus one claw (due to various reasons/claw stuck in net/etc). The lobster was very moist and tasty. My husband enjoyed the seafood clam bake. We had an end table and had a great view of the water, which made... More

We have been to Lobster Grill Inn many times. It is a great setting, and the food is basically good. The restaurant sits on the water and the nautical theme is a wonderful throwback to the 60s. The staff is efficient and friendly. We've always wondered why the dinner menu is a bit upscale instead of serving fried shrimp and... More

The lobster dinners were terrific. We loved dining bayside, looking at the boats coming and going at sunset. Didn't have reservations but the 3 of us got a table with a view within 10 minutes. Service was friendly.
