Local Recommendation

This was recommended by a local walking his dog one evening. Great atmosphere, seems to be towns local favourite. Very cheap considering its location in Southampton. Food tasty, staff outstanding.

A nice alternative to the trendy Hamptons restaurants, it's a real local sports bar offering excellent burgers

Wow, what a great find by dumb luck. Had first stopped at a "Publick" house up the road where I was pretty much ignored by the bar staff so promptly left. Found this place on the Spoon. Lucky I did! Being a Yankee fan and a fan of a great burger, I found both. Small gem worshiping the Babe and... More

Fellingham's is the "real" Southampton - - local people, local food (much of it, thought they also have excellent steaks and burgers) and friendly service. The atmosphere is American pub: the bar is always busy, there are couples and groups at the tables, and the feeling is just plain happy. There is almost no evidence of the big-new-money Hamptons at... More

Best Hamburgers and more. Family run and community minded. If you want to see where the locals eat, then you must visit Fellinghams.

Always fresh and best burgers in town. No reservations so there can be a wait. The service is pleasant and efficient.

Awful service. Not customer friendly. Slow. Dilapidated. Agree with Jul 23rd reviewer. Managers are also horrendous.

Of all the great places in Southampton, why did we have to walk into this pub? Our conversation with the waitress was like this ... and a whole lot more: "What are your specials?" "I don't know; look at the board." "Do you have any local beer?" "I don't know. I don't drink alcohol." She couldn't answer pretty much anything... More

This is mainly a locals place amidst the Southampton "beautiful people" scene. Solid service/food & drink. Nothing fancy, but then again they don't try to be. They are simply put a nice & solid local pub, & they do a great job of it. For those that have been coming out to these parts for 35+ years...this used to be... More
