My wife and I have been going to Sip 'N Soda for the last 30 years. It is a vintage 1950's soda shop with great ice cream, soda favorites like the Lime Rickey and the Vanilla Coke, and good old fashioned favorites like hamburgers or Grilled Cheese sandwiches. Its all pretty basic, but a lot of fun... read more

This place is a great step back in time. We had breakfast and an egg cream. Really good. The ambience really makes the place for a really casual bite.

A classic greasy spoon diner. It's not that the style is reminiscent of the 1950's, it's that everything in here is from the 1950s. But with all the other breakfast places around turning to pastries and foo-foo food, it's nice to go somewhere you can fill up on bacon and sausage.

When I was growing up going to Sip and Soda for breakfast or lunch was a major treat for my brother, friends, and I. We would beg our parents to drop us off or let us bike there for even ice cream or one of their delicious glasses of lemonade. My kids have enjoyed it too, but not as much.... More

We went to this place for an ice cream soda. I heard the ice cream is delicious, but we didn't get much. I got a black and white ice cream soda and my husband got a chocolate ice cream soda which was good but we didn't get much ice cream. The luncheonette was crowded, noisy and many of the tables... This is a diner right out of the fifties and the ambiance looks it. We always go there for a reasonably priced breakfast and for the homemade ice cream. Service by young people is very friendly and the food is good value for the money. It is a fine place for breakfast and lunch if you do not mind the... More

A really homely atmosphere and good old fashioned home cooking. The blueberry and banana pancakes were a dream and so were the omelettes. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. All of the family thoroughly enjoyed it.

Skip the overpriced eateries and go for homemade ice cream and old-school coffee shop food. We were much happier here for dessert than we were having a fancy lunch at one of the "better" restaurants around the corner. And the walls have been lined over the years with signs selling the shop's Lime Rickeys, drawn by Irwin Hasen, the artist... More

This little greasy spoon has some redeeming qualities. I went in late one afternoon for a look. And a bite to eat. The interior is quite luncheonette traditional. The food I ordered was amazing in that it was so old school it was scary. Turkey burger in the three or four oz. range. Done on a griddle. In my estimation... More
