Silver's reminds me of a dressed up, old fashioned soda fountain shop.checkerboard floor, old fashioned cash register...very friendly, good service and food. My friend ordered the famous BLT which she recommends. I ordered the Provence salad with chicken, also good. Loved the paintings! A bit pricey for lunch, but this is Southampton!

My husband and I chose Silver's Famous Restaurant for lunch based on its popularity, location, and decor. The restaurant is charming with its brass chandeliers, watercolor paintings on pale lemon-colored walls, antique cash register, and black and white checkerboard floor. We managed to get a window seat and watched Village shoppers while we ate. My husband had the lobster bisque,... More

I have had my share of blts in my time, but their's is remarkable. My wife had the lobster bisque which actually had visible lobster in it. Both of these dishes made a fine lunch. And as an aside, the bread in olive oil and herbs -- scrumptious. We got there slightly before noon and the service was excellent, as... More

Came in for lunch, which was average. Silvers offers a Lovely bistro type setting, good service, average food at exorbitant prices, which is sad. Sorta recommend, be aware very pricey.

Silver's is a Southampton institution, always crowded, ambiance of a delicatessen cum diner but so what the food is exceptionally good, nearing sensational. Depending on the moment service varies from great to downright ugh. The adage of you get what you pay for is true here, although you pay a lot. The lobster roll ($44) is to die for. Our... More

Always a solid choice, Silver's doesn't disappoint. We've been going there for years and the food quality is always consistent. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the proprietor always seems to drop by our table to say hello. The menu is small and doesn't change much, but it's always done wonderfully.

Silvers in the heart of Southampton makes lunches out with the girls or a lunch with your special love a delicious and memorable experience. Hearty creamy soups with the best warmed toasty bread with garlic and oils are a great beginning. Not to mention the wine.....or the scrumptious BLT... You can lunch outside or in. Not open for dinner....it's a... More

Outstanding lobster bisque is spot on! The BLT is extremely good and should be for $20. Lobster roll on a toasted brioche also excellent. No sign of mayo although menu suggested it would, $40. Owner's son was our waiter - will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was having a bad day. Needs to check in... More

we were last minute eaters for lunch. the lobster bisque was the best we have eaten and I had the club sandwich which might also be the best I have had. great selections of wine and the ice tea was strong and tasty. owner/chef is on site and stops to say hello.. that's a nice touch.
