Very good food, slow service & $$$$

This was my first time at Silvers. I learned they are only open for lunch which worked for me. I had the lobster bisque and the baguettes that come with all meals. It was a large portion and was very very good, as were the baguettes. I'm thinking it should be good for $18. The service was very... read more

Silver's is consistently excellent. The food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. The owner (Garrett) is hands on in the kitchen and when time permits walks through the restaurant to welcome his guests. Needless to say he has many regulars. The staff are professional and service is slick. They do not take reservations, but we have only had to wait once... More

We stopped by today for an early lunch, our choice of seats at 11:30, filling up by the time we left. As always, we began with a warm crusty bread dipped in delicious garlicky olive oil. More bread was served with our meal without our having to ask. I had a great lobster bisque with chunks of sweet lobster, my... More

Check their hours before you head out. When you run an upscale casual restaurant as a "hobby" you can afford to be selective. The prices are up their with most Manhattan restaurants but the food and service can't be beat.

This establishment has been in Southampton for years. In a bygone era it essay great lunch place. Now we find it ver priced and over rated. Went for a birthday lunch while in town. Disappointing food and service. I do think the tourists enjoy it.

This restaurant is highly rated on Trip Advisor, but I can't agree with that rating. The food was good and as mentioned on other reviews the prices are quite high. My husband had the famous BLT & it was large and the lettuce & tomato excellent.....as was the bacon. It was very good. I had the lobster bisque. I'm not... More

Had the lobster roll and the French Picnic plus a couple of glasses of wine. 1) The Lobster was good as were the tomato wedges served with it. The bread it was served on was bland - kind of stale. 2) The french picnic was good but again just not worth it. 3) The service and decor were good. Again... More

Excellent but extremely expensive. The food is excellent but the prices are outrageously expensive for lunch. Great service. Always jammed.

A lunch only upscale place great for people watching and the best BLT anywhere, very nice bistro setting with a willing wait staff and owner in attendance. Good for couples, family and friends.

Stopped in for lunch mid-week. Able to secure a table after a short wait. Ordered the BLT and Salade de Provence. When they say not your usual BLT, they mean it! Fabulous creation of fresh, ripe tomatoes, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, mayo and fantastic bread. Salade de Provence consisted of fresh greens, olives, tomatoes, super-creamy goat cheese and a wonderful... More
