Wow! Inventive Martinis, Gourmet Food, Great Service, Fun Atmosphere

My friends hosted a 'milestone' birthday party here. It was memorable night befitting of the fabulous birthday girl! The Key West-themed atmosphere puts you in the mood to relax and party. The huge list of martinis made it hard to choose just one - they all looked so yummy. I was delighted with... read more

No two ways about it--this place is special in every way: first rate food, good service, great selection of drinks and wine and an off-beat charm. I agree with other reviewers that the Bay Street Hotel is one of the best restuarants in the Rochester area.

This is the best restaurant in Rochester and surrounding area!!!! The décor and feel are "Key West" ! The martini's are made with fresh ingredients and do you need more than 140 to choose from??!!! The food in the dining room is gourmet or you can enjoy a more casual menu in the bar from the famous food truck parked... More

My BFF took me out to dinner last night. It was wonderful! Food was great, our waitress was one of the best. What a fabulous evening.

This has been a "go to' spot in Sodus Point - but over the past few years have noticed a decline in experience at the bar. But hey, it happens. What you can count on is consistent good food and a quirky atmosphere, which in this case works!

First of all, Thank You Trip Advisor. I would never have tried this restaurant without you. I would not have even realized it was there. And I would have hated to miss it. It is totally different than any other restaurant in the Sodus Bay area - which cater to diners coming off of their boats and run toward fried... More

Walking down Bay street it is very easy to pass the Bay St. Hotel. It's dark, hidden behind trees,no signs, in fact the name of the hotel is block letters on the front porch post painted in the same color OF the hotel so it's almost indistinguishable. Anyway, you stand on the street looking at this dilapidated building wondering what... More

Excellent food--fresh ingredients, plentiful servings, attentive but not imposing service. Oysters w moray sauce over spinach-- light and unique. House made salad dressings well mixed and balanced. Soused scallops and shrimp were delicious--scotch bonnet peppers were the main and clean taste. Seared diver scallops came w both mashed potatoes and wild rice and a side of spinach. Scallops were tender... More

If exterior appearance Is a deciding factor you probably will keep on driving. The brave and adventuresome souls will find good food and friendly people. A take off on old Key West, the bar boasts a 150+ assortment of martins, and a back bar that is up to the challenge of your order. The surprise is through the back arch... More
