Excellant Breakfast and they serve Lunch

Came at the suggestion of a friend who lives on the island--glad I did. Located in what really looked like a large house with a screen porch, Maureen's is a legend here. The wait at 10am was almost 45 minutes but well worth it. Omelets were amazing, baked oatmeal was indescribable! Great service, reasonably priced! If ever I'm back in... More

I would have loved the option of selecting a rating between Average and Very Good. Have been there twice now for breakfast and both times came away with the same conclusion. Great variety of breakfast items - assorted pancakes, stuffed French Toasts, various types of Eggs Benedict (Canadian Bacon, Salmon, etc)..... Service - while never rude - certainly did not... More

Excellent food and great atmosphere. I love the different breakfast combinations they offer. I can't believe the demand. Weekends are extremely popular I recommend a weekday myself if you do not like a wait/

My family came in from out of town to help me celebrate Mother's Day. Where else would I take them to--of course Maureen's Kitchen. I knew that my grandkids would love the place. Not only the décor but delicious food. We came in a bit late but got the same great service with a smile. No one rushed us to... More

Does anyone work around LI? Got there at 9AM and the place was packed. Mixed crowd (retirees, business, couples, friends, etc.) Waitstaff was attentive for how busy it was. Specials were interesting and the omelets were incredible. Good coffee as well. Would absolutely go back.

Too crowded on the weekends. the food is good, but not worth the wait. Lots of cow décor. Miss the days back when it was worth it

This is a one of a kind experience. Be prepared to wait. There is always s line. But the food and experience is worth it. It is noisy and you are packed in there but the food is very good and the portions are tremendous. Once you go there you will say you will have to go back again to... More

My favorite breakfast place ......ever.....huge portions and wonderful food..... The sandwiches for lunch are huge....have to remove some of the meat or fish....can't get your mouth around it! The noise level is the only downside...terrible acoustics...don't go on a first date here...you won't hear each other . Reasonably priced....try to go during the week...like 10am....way too packed on the weekends.
