Stopped in for breakfast sandwiches during our stay in the area. The service and food were excellent and would be happy to recommend this bakery.

This place is always busy and you'll see why. We stop in whenever we're in town, and particularly like the breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta bread, with a nice tall latte on the side. Hard to beat!

The title says it all - heavenly in dough and sugar and spice. Fabulous pastries, homemade bread and if you're inclined to get married - get your cake there too. A lovely couryard and a charming location within walking distince of the entire village makes the "Skane" bakery the first stop everyday!

I am an experienced baker so of course I had to check out the bakery. I have been here several times and sometimes the baked goods are ok and sometimes dry and not very good. I keep hoping that I will try something that will be great but so far no good. A little pricey I think with a peanut... More

They're sweets are nothing to brag about. The sandwiches are ok but expensive. They close way to early, so if you work late go somewhere else.

What an array of baked goods! Nice selection of creative sandwiches and lovely pastries. My friend bought a glazed doughnut, which is her favorite guilty pleasure, and I bought a roll with butter, immediately sorry we had had breakfast not 10 minutes before. Baked goods were delicious-looking. The ones we had did not disappoint.

Growing up in Skaneateles, the Bakery is an institution. I went to it regularly growing up as a special treat. Even now, though I live in Baltimore/DC, whenever I travel back to upstate NY the two places I HAVE to hit at least once is Doug's and the Skaneateles Bakery. They still make some of the best donuts I have... More

We stayed at the Packwood House, so they don't have breakfast in the morning therefore we ventured down the street to where you could smell the freshly made donuts in the morning. The smell as you walk towards the bakery is intoxicating and then... you get to enjoy everything this wonderful little spot has to offer. The coffee is wonderful,... More

The staff was very friendly; the food was delicious and priced very well. Also, they have Irish Breakfast Tea, which is a personal favorite that is difficult to find.

From the reviews, we thought the place would be excellent, but found it above-average but not exceptional. Having said that, It's worth a stop . . . the scones were good and I'd get them again.
