Description: Our dining incorporates the spirit of wellness and balance by spotlighting local products and organic whenever feasible. We take great care to support the farm-to-table concept and use the culinary talents of our team to incorporate daily baked goods, New York State beef, Finger Lakes produce and cheeses into your stay with us. The Dining Room at Mirbeau takes the form of The French Steakhouse every evening when the lights are dimmed and the music gets a little progressive. Classic pleasures like East- and West-Coast oysters, table-side Caesar Salad as well as seafood flown in fresh daily complement the variety of French comfort foods and in-house dry-aged beef on our seasonal menu. Have fun sharing sides to accompany your steaks or seafood and you might even find yourself having to defend your soufflé against others’ advances. Attire is relaxed and refined with no particular need to go with (or without) a jacket or tie.

Love going to the wine bar with my husband for a great meal and terrific wine. Don't ever need to go to the dining room, you get everything you need for a romantic night bellied up to the beautiful bar.

I have to start by saying entering Mirbeau is like visiting a village in Epcot. The fake-ness of the atmosphere & grounds far outweighs any quaintness that may have been intended. But decor aside, my primary issue with the place is the dreadful level of service that diners have to endure, at a very premium cost. I was there this... More

Painful to write this review . One of the prettiest restaurants I've ever been to but food and service do not give justice to this "high-end" spa. Great spot for cocktails or a glass of wine but much better food choices in Skaneateles. All four of our main courses were returned to the kitchen. It's the first time ever two... More

The restaurant was simply perfect along with the attentive wait staff. The outdoor seating overlooking "Monet's Garden" was not only breathtaking but also emotional due to the energy throughout the Inn. The food was wonderful right down to the dessert! A self tour through the Inn made me feel like I were in France, without the passport or travel time!... More

We came here four our 41st anniversary dinner. Everything about it was perfect! My husband is a vegetarian and they went out of their way to make sure he had special dishes. I began with their assorted smoked and dried meat plate which was bountiful and yummy. I took some away with me for the next day's lunch. My husband... More

Service was perfect - even had us move to the fireplace for our anniversary champagne toast and dessert. Food just ok for the price.

For a celebration my spouse, mother and I dined here for the first time. The dining room is elegantly appointed and stays true to the European feel. We decided to eat outside overlooking the waterlily pond, highly recommended if weather permits. Another aspect caught my attention, the staff are very young in general, even for this thirty something. However, TJ... More

Last night was the third time my wife and I have celebrated our anniversary at Mirbeau with dinner, an overnight stay, and a massage. A simple but lovely event in our 39th year together. Food is great, the pond is peaceful and the massage gets me ready to go back to life. A nice time to focus on each other.

Stayed at Mirabeau for long weekend. Dinner last night was exceptional. Seafood dish w/lobster, shrimp & jasmine rice was perfectly prepared & extremely creative/flavorful. Filet mignonette au poivre was also great. The kitchen prepares a different unique butter every night. Ours was a lemon/thyme. And the beignets are too die for. Best I've had since New Orleans. Chef prepared a... More

Their dinners are nothing special and small gourmet portions that are not bursting with flavor. I enjoyed their breakfasts (mimosa's!!), but for any other meal, it doesn't seem worth the money to eat there.
