We were lucky enough to have James and staff cater my father's and uncle's 75th birthday celebration of the Fourth of July. The food was exactly what we wanted and everyone was quite impressed. Even with most people going back for seconds, and some even thirds, we still had more food that we could ever dream of eating. We easily... More

After I read in the newspaper that there had been a change in management we went back to see what changed. It is little things that have changed. I was greeted with a smile from James as usual. We were waited on in a very few minutes. China is more upscale than previous. Most noticeable change was when the salads... More

We have eaten at the Inn several times in the past few years. Most times the food was good, but service was slow. The last time we ate there before the new management team took over we were really disappointed. I am a fan of Chris Kuhns, so when I heard he was managing this year we thought we would... More

10 of us recently dined at the Mandana Inn on a Saturday evening. The menu, in it's attempts to break away from the Gramma and Grampa menu of years past was interesting and quite good. We were all pleased with our selections from the Boston baked Scrod to the Classic Reuben (fried fish sandwich). Beef tips with pork belly was... More

My husband and I took my mother for dinner on a Friday night 2 weeks ago. My mother had a walker. We were heading towards the stairs , which was the main entrance, when a gentleman opened another door to the restaurant for us, saying my mother didn't have to do stairs. Good sign . The dining room was empty... More

we found everything about this inn to be above our expect ions. We arrived without a reservations on a busy Friday night, we were asked to wait in the bar, a couple of local customers were very friendly. Our table was ready in ten minutes and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The food and drink were as good... More

The Mandana Inn is a warm, neighborhood-feeling place with knotty pine walls and grandfather clocks whose timely chimes add to the comfortable, no-stress surroundings. The diverse wine list complements the creative specials as well as the comfortable staples such the famous scrod, calamari and prime rib. The service is polite and friendly -- making you feel more like you are... More
