Blue Water was able to accommodate our larger group (8) for a same-day reservation, and was very helpful and friendly. All but one member enjoyed their food, and staff was quick to offer a replacement for the one meal. Overall, our group found the food good, not life-changing.

If you are looking for a great breakfast place, check out the Blue Water. Food is great and they have a nice atmosphere. Don't waste your time with a greasy diner.

Location is outstanding with views onto the lake, patio and outdoor seating, smack in the commercial district of Skaneateles. With a reservation we were seated immediately and our server was attentive and polite. The atmosphere on an August Sunday evening was bustling and lively. Many families with children of all ages mixed with couples and parties of adults. Live jazz... More

My favorite part of the meal was the bread. Very chewy, very yummy. I had the bang bang scallops. They were cooked very nicely. I expected them to have some kick, with a Thai chili sauce, but they were kind of bland. Very good sweet potato fries. My wife had Chiilean sea bass, which she liked a lot. Very nice... More

We eat here every couple of weeks in the Summer because its a great place to sit outside for a great meal overlooking the lake. Never disappointed by any dish, the Blue Water Grill is where we always bring out of town guests! Presentation, quality, menu selection & portion sizes can't be beat. The staff is always professional and courteous... More

Great food, glass of wine, and musician playing on Sunday night. Just returned from a week out of town and was nice to sit down with family in a familiar place, with favorite foods, and no hassles. Good to be home.

There are not a lot of choices for breakfast in Skaneateles. I had one of their skillet breakfasts, which was quite good at a reasonable price. The service was good. The coffee is perhaps the Worst Coffee in America (at $2.50). It is that concentrated coffee that is mixes with hot water. Just terrible. It amazes me that, given the... More

Located on the water with outside seating too. This is a combine type of establishment. I mean is next to the Blue Water Grill is the Blue Goose. Both places seem to be interactive with each other. My girlfriend had the tuna with chutney dinner (medium) was delicious and she wouldn't give me any more than 1 sample!

Rather inexpensive for the skaneateles area, right on the water, food is decent. Alcohol selection is ok. One of the better choices of the town.
