Local eatery. Love the Hardrolls.

Funky little woodsy eatery. I used to go here as a kid for jelly donuts after church. Now I make sure to go in for a typical upstate NY egg sandwich on a hard roll. It's very affordable and its a local icon.

I live very close to a well known bakery in town but drive 40 mins (passing that place) just to get to the Pineview Bakery to buy coffee cakes & hard rolls (to mail to my Dad in FL for gifts). They do all of the baking right there & it's delicious! Another relative asks us to send the giant... More

I used to live in Shokan and frequented this place, unfortunately we moved. We were back in the area visiting the area and stopped by. It seems to be a place that time stands still. The bake goods are excellent and the food on the limited menu is good. We bought a Christmas Stollen for my parents which is a... More

Must confess that we have eaten here a number of times before and always great. Today was no exception. Don't believe any negative reviews for this little place has lots of charm, great food, nice customers and friendly staff. Yes, service is not the fastest especially like today when it was full with hungry folks. However, the food is always... More

We stopped here for breakfast on the way from Cooperstown to Newark. The place was charming, and welcoming. Service was great and very friendly. The pastries were excellent, especially the apple danish. We met the owner/ baker as he was bring out fresh cookies. Wow the cookies were good. I highly recommend Pineview Bakery both for its food and authenticity.

Excellent bakery - small coffee shop, good standard breakfast, but, limited menu. Don't ask for home fries, or you will be told "home fries you get at home!!!" Odd hours!!!!

A very popular breakfast place, with good, standard, breakfast fare. The baked goods are overrated, but it is very conveniently located.

Stopped in for a brunch when the place didn't seem busy but the service was lacking and we were not impressed with the food. Order took quite a while and there was quite a bit of chatter going on in the kitchen area. A cheese omelette has invisible cheese and over easy eggs were runny, had to remind waitress for... More
