Bee Issue

Stopped for drinks while on the island. It was about 4:00. The place was a bit dirty, the tables sticky and bees flying and landing on all the fruit at the bar and even saw a few dive into the shakers. People walking around with no shoes inside. I decided not to eat there after looking around... read more

SO quiet unlike any other beach I've ever been to in New York. It was so clean and lovely, did not go in the water but the food from the night before was lovely high end french food.

Perfect beach side dining with European chic ambiance. Convenience of the bar and restaurant to the beach cannot be beat! Fried artichokes are perfect to share. Rose and specialty cocktails are delicious. Child friendly too.

Definitely had atmosphere.......but spaghetti with tomato sauce was 32.00, a crab cake appetizer was 24.00......all items were overpriced.......food was good......our bill for 2 people came to close to 200.00.....that was for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 coffees and 2 deserts, ...without wine..not worth it...

Park your towels at the beach and go in the cafe, lounge or restaurant for a limited but tasty menu - mussels are probably the best option. Nice drinks but pricey.

This was our second time at a place. Only because of sunset watching and drinks. Wanted to get a table. A hostess told us that none available. We looked ourselves around, and of course there was one. Came back to the hostess. Asked about the take we saw. The response - "We have a large party reserved". A large party... More

On a nice night it has the best location to see the Sunset. But do you need dresses and spike heels on Shelter Island - come on now. Shelter Island is a place to chill out.. They have a band, drinks and decent food but, its about the location. Enjoy....

This laid-back, beach-front seafood and cocktail spot is exactly what those escaping the city are looking for. Very casual with a fun, young atmosphere, the sunset view was absolutely breathtaking and just what you want after a day of sunkissed beach activity. I had a refreshing daquiri, crab legs, poke, kale salad and lobster at a breezy indoor/outdoor table. The... More

Probably picked one of the most beautiful evenings of the year to have dinner here the location and setting are very St. Tropez which my family loves. The dinner entrees were very good and well prepared however the drink orders were a constant struggle for the waitress to bring in a timely fashion on a relatively slow night. Although the... More
