As we were traveling through New York after visiting Cooperstown, we were lucky to discover the Black Cat Café for a delicious lunch. They were kind enough to split the large sandwiches for the four of us. So tasty and lots of quaint atmosphere.

My Sister and I went to Sharon Springs to see the Beekman Mercantile and while we were there decided to have lunch. Alas there was one little café right across the street. The food was very good and they were making the baked goods right there. We loved the home town feel of the place.

My husband and I stopped for lunch while traveling through the area. We both had the Turkey Gobbler sandwich and it was terrific. I ordered mine on the homemade raisin bread and it was delicious, turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce. My only complaints would be the uncomfortable old chairs and that the homemade loaves of bread for sale are left out... More

This was our second trip to Sharon springs and the black cat. The environment is so much fun. We visited during the garden party in town so it was a little busy but still decent service. The food was excellent. Although they were out of my favorite blaak and Mac I did still have the BLT the others in my... More

While my wife was shopping in downtown Sharon Springs I went to the Black Cat. She caught up with me later there. I got the B.L.T. The best I've had.she got I think it was called a cobbler gobbler. Fancy turkey sandwich and kept saying it tasted like Thanksgiving turkey. We both thought it was really good.

The food was great, the menu was creative The only drawback is that the waitress was very, very busy and couldn't quite keep up with the needs of the customers. I'd definitely go again, though.

The cafe is charming and is located right in the heart of Sharon Springs. We've had many of the items on the menu that have been great, but my favorites are Thanksgiving Everyday (a sandwich featuring turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce) and Cobbler's Gobbler (turkey, apple, lettuce, and mayo on raisin bread). Be sure to try the Lebanese potato salad... More

We ate lunch at the Black Cat Cafe and had beautiful and delicious sandwiches on home baked bread. The service was excellent and the prices very reasonable. I would love to go back some time.

I absolutely loved this little cafe. I had the blakk and Mac side dish with the BLT sandwich. So good. The Blakk and Mac was made with the blakk cheese from the fabulous beekman boys and their goat milk. The bread for the sandwich was so fresh and soft. So good, can't wait to go back
