A Old Fashioned Drive In on the Shores of the Mohawk River!

Jumpin' Jacks Drive In has been in Schenectady before I was born! It is the first sign of spring in the area! Even though it is often still cold and windy, people will stand in long lines for a cheese dog or a Jackburger! The food is not gourmet but it is just plain good, cooked to order, fast... read more

Jumpin Jack's has been around for a very long time. Located on the shores of the Mohawk River, it has the typical summer drive in, beach stuff...fried shrimp, clams, onion rings, French fries, hamburgers, hot dogs. It also has soft serve ice cream. It is hopping all summer long. The food is greasy, but for those who like that kind... More

I get the concept of Jumpin Jacks and it's brilliant.... However, the hype is way better then the food! The servers are filthy, the food is overpriced and disgustingly greasy! Unless you want to spend the rest of the day on the toilet, I would steer clear of this establishment!! Ick!

Best deal on the Fish or Clam dinner by far at a price of $ 8.50. Fish is not greasy, comes with roll/butter, fries, onion rings too. Worth the wait in line as it moves very fast.

Good hotdogs and icecream. Good place to eat on a hot day. The staff is friendly. The place is neat. Would go again.

Jumpin' Jacks is a fun place to go in the summer. Food is good and we love to stop for ice cream. Always nice to watch the water ski team in Tuesday nights and to go to the concerts in Freedim park.

Grilled hot dogs & hamburgers, fries and onion rings, eaten outdoors in the sunshine along the Mohawk River. What's not to love? Watch a world class ski team practice or put on a show, go next door for a free concert at the amphitheater, or cross the road to the playgrounds, tennis courts, swimming, baseball, and more at the prettiest... No, this is the best meal I have ever had, but I would be so depressed if we ever lost Jumpin' Jacks. First of all, its' tradition. You just go the opening day regardless of the weather..it is the right of passage because warm weather will follow..and then the park will be filled with people coming alive after a long... More

Ice cream, shakes, burgers, FISH FRIES, clams, dogs, fries, popcorn! It's all amazing! Long lines that fly - the cooks and servers are trained to entertain! There is no inside eating, and no one stops there for clean bathrooms, but it's a rite of summer - around Easter to Labor Day. The outdoor village stage next door has concerts or... More

When Jumpin Jacks opens, kids skip school to be there. Hamburgers, fries, ice cream. Sort of like "Happy Days."
