Dirty and Slow

I took my niece and nephew there for lunch. We ordered three simple items.BLT,pancakes and mozzarella sticks! Over a half an hour later part of the meal showed up and still waited on the rest. The meal was terrible. I wanted more mayo but couldn't get the help to ask. Before leaving I went to the... read more

Very fine local diner that has served the community for many year. The menu is the typical diner offerings. The food is well prepared, the prices are moderate, the service is friendly, and the owner still walks about greeting customers with a warm smile. The diner moved from its original location in the village of Scotia to a newly renovated... More

Liked; Great service..amount of food equal to price. Never crowded so easy to stop anytime. Closes early evening, tried to stop once and was rudely greeted...WE ARE CLOSED.

Trying to find our way out of Scotia to get to 890 we spotted a theatre on the main street of Scotia and pulled over and lo and behold there was the diner right across the street! It was after lunch but we had a long journey ahead of us and weren't sure where we would stop so we decided... More

Took a wrong turn in Scotia NY and found ourselves outside the Scotia Diner. We LOVE Diners so...in we went. Elvis was "in the building" along with more staff than customers (it was 3:30 so...). Our server was very attentive. We ordered the Tuna Melt (on menu here as Grilled Tuna & Cheese) along with the special of the day... More

The worse salad I ever had. Light orange tomatoes, white lettuce, and deli meat roast beef on a Black & Blue salad - and it was not fresh! Disgusting

We used to eat breakfast at the old location from time to time and it was ok by diner food standards. This was my first visit to the new location. There is bad diner food, but this was bad by bad diner food standards. How can you take a simple greasy hamburger and make it so dry and tasteless that... More

DO NOT GO TO THIS DINER!!! When you walk into this diner it looks like a nice little diner, well looks can be deceiving.. After you're seated it takes a considerable amount of time to be helped. If youre getting any sort of drink, order 2 at first otherwise youll be thirsty while your waitress talks behind the counter and... More

I had a lunch date with a friend and wanted to see how the new Scotia Diner was. This whole place needs a good scrubbing. The floors are so dirty and need a deep clean around and under the booths. Some parts of the floor need to be repaired. There are fingerprints everywhere, including on a tacky display case near... More

The diner moved last year to much anticipation for a larger, newer facility. Unfortunately the owner opened up with not enough help for quite some time and twice we could not get waited on and ended up leaving with out trying the food. We were completely ignored for 20 minutes, no menu, coffee nothing. My husband refused to go back... More
