Wonderful bread to start, great blue cheese dressing on the salad. Their entres are fabulous, my favorite is "Chicken Morola – $17.99 Tender filets of chicken sauteed with sausage, mushrooms and onions, then simmered in our homemade sauce and a touch of sweet cream. " But any of their pasta is wonderful. Walk in the door and smell the fresh... More

I have been a happy customer of Canali's for over 30 years and have never had a bad meal. I don't know what they do to their house salad but the dressing and herb combination is incredible. The gravy (red sauce) is perfect. Servings are huge so we always have leftovers to enjoy another meal at home. Friendly service, great... More

One of the best places In town for Italian food. I eat here probably more than I should! This place always has something going on and the service is excellent. I love the pasta and meatballs. The portions are great and the meatballs are huge. If you are looking for an Italian feast for a reasonable price check this place... More

We were in town for the Old Songs festival in Altamont. Our dinner at Canalis was a delightful reminder of the wonderful southern Italian dinners we used to have many years ago in chambersburg--the then Italian section of Trenton. The portions were huge, the servers were delightful, and the home made pasta was great. We split one dinner for the... More

My wife and I were in the area for only one night, and saw this place had some excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! Made reservations for 2 on a Friday night. Service was great, food was spectacular! Best Brasciola I have ever had! Plenty left to take home. I hope we get the chance to visit here again!

This place has been around for years and has been serving some of the best Italian food in the area. Most of the time we need dogie bags as there is so much food on our plates. The restaurant is nearly always packed as a tribute to Thier quality of food.

We went to Canali's as children as a big treat. Now when I go to Schenectady to visit my Mom, we will always have one meal (take out). My favorite is the cavatelli with meatballs and Mom's is the veal parm without the mozzarella. The sauce is like Mom used to make and the portions are large, one takeout can... More

Canali's has been around as long as I can remember. It is consistently good, has a huge menu and a huge local following. It's also the go to place for rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, you name it. During our most recent visit there were two parties going on and except for the parking lot, we wouldn't have known. Their sauce... More

We have been going to Canali's since I was a little girl. At that time, the parents of Henry were running the place. Now 50 yrs. later, I am still extremely happy with the atmosphere, service and food. I have been to family gatherings as well as banquets in the room downstairs and am very satisfied and never disappointed. Try... More

Busy, busy. Italian restaurant that serves very large (1-2 leftover meals, even for big eaters) portions. Food was very tasty, quick with friendly service. Meatballs are the size of a swollen baseball and delish! Party of 6 and everyone left with tomorrow's dinner.
