We went for breakfast with a group and were seated quickly outside. We asked for separate checks for separate families, not a big deal really, and the waiter was clearly put off by the request. The food was mediocre at best, but the worst part is that they ran out of bread! This bakery, known for their bread, served us... More

I had the good fortune of marrying a girl whose grandparents were Italian immigrants from Sicily who settled in Schenectady, NY. We live in Texas now but whenever possible we go back to visit the place we lived for many years and eat some hearty delicious Italian food. This time my wife's uncle recommended that we try Perreca's Restaurant. Perreca's... More

We went here for their 100 years celebration in August 2014. Had their pizza which was extraordinary, light crispy crust, terrific sauce and mozzarella cheese, a real pizza lovers delicacy. The crust was so good we ate that too. They are know for their crusty bread, desserts and authentic Italian food. You will not be disappointed.

Would not step foot into this restaurant again. Although numerous people have raved about there bakery and I agree the bakery is exceptional the restaurant is another story. Had reservations , promptly seated, and waited ,order taken . Wine served ad waited ,and waited for a simple dinner to be served. After about an hour and a half we were... More

No question that their Italian bread is the very best, bar none, but that doesn't mean the restaurant will be the same. They serve all 3 meals here (overextended?). We went for dinner. On a warm summer evening, I was dying for a gin & tonic. Well none here...beer & wine only. what's up with that? Chicken Marsala has a... More

The food was great and a good selection. Staff was helpful and quick. When we opened our map different wait staff came to ask what we were looking for and gave suggestions. The owner showed us around the restaurant/bakery. We got to see where they bake the bread and their huge oven. Very hospitable.

Stop in for a loaf of Perreca's famous Italian bread (actors have had it flown to CA over the years after tasting it!) No other bakery can master the thick, chewy crust like Perecca's. If you want a snack or a light lunch, grab a piece or two of tomato pie; a variety of pizza eaten hot or cold. Looking... More

Good news: Waitress was pleasant and they comped our lunches and threw in a couple of free desserts. Bad news: Pretty much everything else. We're local and have been enjoying their great bread for years. I'm very lenient concerning restaurant service and quality. Lunch on a Saturday at 1 PM. Waited for someone to notice us and offer a drink... More

Have gone three times in the past year. First time was great! Second time we had eggplant sandwiches. Ice cold!!!! Third time was yesterday. Ordered steak sandwhich. Out of steak!!! Then ordered zita. Out of zita! Service was poor. They didn't even have the right containers to bring home food. Brought a container to my table and it was dirty.... More
