Stop in for a loaf of Perreca's famous Italian bread (actors have had it flown to CA over the years after tasting it!) No other bakery can master the thick, chewy crust like Perecca's. If you want a snack or a light lunch, grab a piece or two of tomato pie; a variety of pizza eaten hot or cold. Looking... More

Good news: Waitress was pleasant and they comped our lunches and threw in a couple of free desserts. Bad news: Pretty much everything else. We're local and have been enjoying their great bread for years. I'm very lenient concerning restaurant service and quality. Lunch on a Saturday at 1 PM. Waited for someone to notice us and offer a drink... More

Have gone three times in the past year. First time was great! Second time we had eggplant sandwiches. Ice cold!!!! Third time was yesterday. Ordered steak sandwhich. Out of steak!!! Then ordered zita. Out of zita! Service was poor. They didn't even have the right containers to bring home food. Brought a container to my table and it was dirty.... More

This is an institution! THE BEST italian EVER! If you like old world italian then this is your place! The bread pizza is to die for! I live in Dallas now and whenever I go back to Schenectady I must go here! There pepper sandwiches are the best, too!

First of all, the county did a nice job making this area walkable again! Pereccas bread is something from my past that I crave immensely and I have not tasted anything like it in the area! Their pizza with homemade sauce and grated cheese is amazing as well! I love the smells and the tastes of this place and go... More

They bake their own bread on the premises and bake the desserts. The girls are the best people to wait on you, helping every step. I go there often and like everything they serve.

We went for an anniversary dinner, placed our order. A young lady with kids sat next to us(must have been friends of the staff) Had our appetizer. Table next to us was joined by 3 more adults and 1 more child. We are still waiting for our entrees. Table next to us receives dinner for all of them...we are still... More

Perreca's Bakery is best known for the best Italian bread in town and they sell out by afternoon, so get here early. The pizza is also amazing as well as their Italian pastries and cookies. If you want an authentic Italian experience, Perreca's Bakery is a must visit for you. I haven't tried the breakfast or sandwiches but will some... More

I've only eaten at Perreca's Bakery for breakfast, and have never left unsatisfied. They serve their world-famous bread, baked in their ovens on site. Staff was pleasant and efficient. An excellent place to meet friends and enjoy a nice morning.

I have only eaten breakfast here. When Perreca's first opened breakfast was great and the prices okay. For me, in the past couple of years it's been not so good. The prices were abit higher than other local places. The last visit, Feb. 21,2014 , the food soso , plus it took forever to get the food. There were only... More
