Great sandwiches, chewy bagels and crusty breads, The almond crescents are to die for. The owner has changed more than once over the last 50 years, but the food stays great.

Gershon's is a traditional Jewish deli. The counters are filled with scrumptious looking food! Our Roast beef sandwiches came exactly as ordered and tasted delicious. The roast beef was cut on the thicker side and was rare...love their Russian dressing, too. The only down side was our server. She barely served us, I had to get us napkins as she... More

Driving from Montreal to Philadelphia we had to detour to get to Gershon's but a friend said this restaurant had some of the best Corned Beef she ever had every eaten so I had to try it. I am so glad we took took the time. The restaurant is classic kosher style deli decor. The tables are close together. The... More

I wasn't surprised, wasn't disappointed, and wasn't particularly wowed..but everyone was satisfied with their meals. Upon arrival, there is no clear designation as to whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated. We weren't the only ones who came in and looked unsure of the procedure. I had the two fish platter. The whitefish chunks were delicious. The herring... More

Looking for a New York style deli? Gershon's is the place. Love their roast beef on rye, and often stop by for a container of herring in cream sauce, our favorite little treat! I realize not everyone may like that, but they have so many items to choose from. Fresh bread and desserts locally made, soups, salads, frozen treats too.... More

I hadn't been to Gershon's in years but needed to pick up a quick dinner for my boyfriend and I. I ordered the chicken terriyaki sandwich and the reuben. It was made quickly and for a reasonable price. It was probably the best reuben I've ever had. Tons of meat, nice melted cheese. I'll probably visit more frequently after this... More

We visited Gershon's yesterday after a performance at Proctor's. This is our usual routine and we look forward to the delicious fare of this establishment. But we were incredibly disappointed by our sandwiches. Specifically, the pastrami was fatty, dry, and hardly there. I left feeling hungry and sad as this is a stop we look forward to whenever we attend... More

Gershon's is a luncheon favorite and always crowded at noon indulging local business people. We ofton go to an early lunch to enjoy the soup of the day and almost always get the hot pastrammi which, in my limited exposure to the local delies, is the best i've had.The sandwich on rye or a hard roll is always overflowing, moist and tender...
