Blue Ribbon Wins First Prize for Cheesecakes

While the Blue Ribbon Restaurant takes it's name from their legendary cheesecake success, their full menu is homemade and has a good selection. Their breakfasts are the great, while other meals we've ordered could have been hotter. It's still a clean, recently renovated local favorite!

Everyone in our party of 5 was impressed with the service, food and cost of this restaurant. We bought desserts to go - too full after dinner - and they were delicious!!

Went for breakfast on a Saturday. We were seated right away and our coffee cups were never empty. Our server was very efficient and prompt. Food was hot and reasonably priced.

Our family loves diners, and the Blue Ribbon is one of the best we've found in the Capital District. The menu has such a wide variety of items to choose from, breakfast lunch or dinner. I love their fish and chips the best but I've never had a bad meal there and the portions are very generous. Save a little... More

Everybody and everything has a place. The important thing is to not try to be what you are not. The Blue Ribbon has been a terrific Diner, in the truest sense of the word since I began going there when I first moved to the area more than 40 years ago. It doesn't try to pass itself off as a... I have a group of 16 guys. The diner is centrally located. The food is excellent, service is quick and they give "seniors a discount on their bill.

I love the spinach pie at the Blue Ribbon so much that I rarely order anything else. At lunch, it comes with a delicious Greek salad...at dinner, soup, salad, and either stuffed grape leaves or very mediocre rice. I also LOVE their tuna melts and fries...fattening of course, but so so good. Of course nothing beats their cheesecake...they have many... More

The Blue Ribbon recently went through a facelift, inside and out. It used to be considered the Blue Ribbon Diner, but with the tasteful upgrades and the outside changes, I would consider it more a restaurant. My husband and I have eaten there more times than I can count. It has never disappointed either one of us. There is something... More
