The setting in an old turn of the century building including both a bakery and eatery was picturesque setting. Seating was promo as was service. The service was friendly and patient. After wondering whether Perreca's could be famous for more than just good bread, I decided to see for myself since "seeing is believing". I am now a believer!! The entire experience exceeded all expectations. All the food is made fresh to order, was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. The portion sizes are big, everything was seasoned just right,... More

Definitely my go to place for comfort food when in Schenectady. This place is the quintessential Italian restaurant. They do breakfast lunch and dinner all at a very reasonable price with top-quality. That never goes out of style, So...Bravo MP!

Waiter was fantastic. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Pizza was so so, and made me a bit upset in my stomach. Dessert was amazing, choc lava with connoli paste on top. Area was deserted, streets empty. Was not familiar with Schenectedy, visiting for first time. Did not love it, but this restaurant is clearly part of the history if the... More

Great Food! This is as close to homemade as you get in a restaurant. The bread is the best and it probably explains why the bakery has been around so long. The restaurant was a new addition a few years ago, but certainly enhances the Perreca's experience. It is a great local place to be able to take people for... More

Went at 2 pm Saturday afternoon. Under 10 diners seated, so the staff was resetting tables.. Waitress arrived quickly with menus. After an extended wait (a bit more then 10 minutes ) she returned to take our five orders. Four of which where 🍅 pie and one turkey sandwich. Waited another twenty minutes before lunch arrived. Sauteed escarole and garlic... More

My husband and I took our moms for a nice Mother's Day brunch, except we never did eat after waiting an hour and a half. They were overbooked, understaffed, my husband's drink was served in a soup mug, they were woefully unprepared. We left after an hour and a half, really hungry but unwilling to wait one more minute. I... More

Last night, my husband and I had dinner at More Perreca's. This is the second time we've eaten there. It's a small restaurant with big taste. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is reasonably priced and the food is fresh and delicious. This restaurant does serve breakfast and lunch. It is an offshoot from Perreca's bakery that is... More
