Yummy Dessert

Stopped in to enjoy some dessert after having dinner at another restaurant in town. Husband had the parfait and I had the vanilla bean cheesecake with fresh strawberry sauce. The both were excellent. We will be back for dinner!

This is a small stylish, classy restaurant right next to the Parker Inn hotel and Hampton Inn. The menu is not that big offering unique dishes. The food and service were fantastic!

The atmosphere was great. Walls look, (or may actually be) the old brick from the adjoining historic buildings. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. Aside from the flat diet soda, (some problem with their dispensing system) the meal was excellent. I would have given it 4 stars but I thought it was a bit pricey. $27 for a sausage and... More

Wow, what a find. Apertivo's service and food were excellent even during pre-show rush hour conditions. They may do even better outside of the theater rush period. We are planning a return visit for a more leisurely dinner. Maybe I was just lucky, but my calamari and baked pasta dish with fennel sausage were the best I can remember ever... More

The environment is great here, especially on a show night at Proctors. Food and service are good. Some slightly different items on the menu, but something there for almost all tastes.

This is the crown jewel of schenectady's restaurants. The service is excellent, the bar is stocked well with top-name booze. The food is prepared well and tastes great. Yeah, they make pizza classy too! It does get a bit nutty before a Proctor's show-- if u are going, make sure the waiter knows. Also try to sit in the restaurant... More

The menu at Aperitivo is always unusual and delicious, with lots of interesting choices. The decor is a hip blend of existing historic charm and modern comforts. The ambience and lighting are wonderful and it has a thriving bar scene in the evenings. Right next to Proctor's Theater, it is a great before theater dinner spot and after theater hangout.
