In town on business and so many places are closed on Mondays, but not Aperitivo. It hit the spot. Glass of wine, some rosemary bread, a heaping plate of pasta, heirloom tomatoes, garlic and olive oil, and some cheese on the side. Partner had the short ribs and almost ate the plate. Odessa our waitress was patient as she explained... More

The risotto with sage left us speechless. The creativity and quality of the food was exceptional. Everything sounded so good so our group ordered a variety and shared. Tempura surf (lobster!) & turf (filet!) roll, 7-hour cherry pepper pork, poached pear and gorgonzola salad, the brick chicken... NO disappointments. The desserts (salted caramel, coconut cream pie and the s'more pot)... More

We took 4 Union College students out for dinner, while visiting of the weekend. It was a great venue, with an broad menu. Perfect place for our mix of young and older members. The appetizers came out promptly and were delicious. There were Fall special menu items as well as a large selection of pizzas, salads, burgers and fish. The... More

We were attending a show at Proctor's Theater. Restaurant is very convenient We have dined here several times. We always make a reservation when dining out. The food and service is top notch. They have an innovative menu including small plates, pizza, excellent pasta, entrees, desserts. I enjoyed the house-made pappardelle with one of the best bolognese sauces I've ever... More

Aperitivo is our typical date spot. Lovely atmosphere. Exposed brick inside. Good sized bar. Large selection at the bar unique menu and always tasty. Pricey. Be prepared if you're eating multiple course to spend over $100 for a couple. Call ahead to find out if it's a "show night". When proctors theatre next door has a big show, the restaurant... More

My mother and I came for a pre-theater dinner here. We were quickly seated, served water and warm bread with olive oil, balsamic and sundried tomatoes. And they brought butter for Mom. Mom is not used to "small plates" - so we had salads and shared the veal parmesan. The veal was thick and tender and very crispy - served... More

My boyfriend and I finally decided to try this place out but ended up disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed three empty tables by the window--so we asked if we could sit at one of these three tables. We were told no since we didn't have a reservation. Okay--I get it. But how come we ordered our meals and... More

Great place for a meal before a movie - down the street - or a show at Proctor's - down the street the other way. Food is good, with modern twists you don't find in Schenectady. But it's most fun to go here for a drink or two and small plates. Friendly service, really clean, and a warm atmosphere add... More

We went hear years ago, and were very disappointed. They seem to have gotten their act together. This place is nothing special, but the food and service were both adequate.

Had an early dinner before dropping off our son at college. Nice service, pretty space. Very solid pizza. The tapas were mixed -- cheese was great, artichokes were great, the bacon was a little odd and too saucy. But you need to try something new. Good place for dinner.
