Great local find

We are here last night. Even tho it was a rainy Monday and they were crowded by six pm. We had the early bird special which gave us lots of choices. I had the clam chowder, the White Sea bass and a great ice cream kit kat dessert. Dinner was fabulous and the portions were large

Innovative and up to date recipes. The best seafood and when they have the giant crab claws, it is my favorite. the bar has great martinis and good wine selection. The wait staff loves the boss. He goes to the wholesale market personally to get a lot of the fish. He gives personal instruction, to the staff daily on how... More

Quick summary: delicious variety and quality of seafood dishes. Very good service. The downside: the room can get loud when it's busy, and they do not take reservations for less than 5 people. We came for dinner had sampled a variety of dishes -- flounder, the lobster dinner special ($29 on Monday night), seafood pasta, salads. Intriguing small plates included... More

One of the best seafood restaurants I've been to in a long while! Excellent variety and unique flavors. The vibe is great…good buzz and activity level, busy but not loud. Go early because they don't take reservations for less than 5. Reasonably priced wine list. Dover Sole, Sea Bass and Rainbow Trout are winners. Excellent variety of shellfish and appetizers.... My husband and I had a delicious fixed price lunch at the Eastchester Fish Gourmet yesterday during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. We had not been to the restaurant for two years, but we now will return frequently. we had the freshest seafood, imaginatively prepared and beautifully served. Even when not Restaurant Week, the prices are reasonable for such delicious food

I have been coming here when visiting for decades. While other restaurants come and go this one remains consistently excellent and somehow keeps getting better.

All around a top flight experience. One of the very best fish restaurant in the county. Attention to detail was excellent and the wine list is broad and provides a wide range of options.

I enjoy eating at Eastchester Fish Gourmet and I eat there quite often. What I don't like is that the restaurant does not take reservations so I have walked out due to a wait especially since I find food quality and service gets spotty when the restaurant gets very busy. If I go early (before 6:30 most nights and at... More

My family and I adore this restaurant! We have never been disappointed in anything that we have ordered! Rick, the owner takes great pride in his restaurant. David the manager/sommelier is extremely helpful in helping you select a wine and always makes us feel so welcome! This is one of our favorite restaurants and we look forward to eating here... More

Good atmosphere. Fish is very fresh. Waiters are fine. Despite the busy location, one only thinks of the great food and concentrate on your dear companion. I would always bring people who appreciate great fish.
