My husband loves weiners and they had a choice of one. Maybe they should change their name? And it wasn't very good.

If there were an original sin this place would be it, the combo of their sauce, minced onions, steamed buns, mustard and hot dogs is mind blowing. I have to stay away from the place or I'd OD on these.

The food here is awesome, especially if you grew up loving it. The service is awful though. Moved back to town for a year and could barely stand to eat there. I know you've been working there for years but you could at least pretend to like your job. Maybe you'd make better money if you were even slightly friendly... More

We are in the Woodstock area about once a year visiting friends. We stop here at least once per visit. Maybe its nostalgia, maybe the hotdogs which is what I grew up calling them. The first time here I didn't have any expectations but simply in the mood for a hotdog-sorry. They were good, kind-of-like many others I've had the... More

After reading all the great reviews we couldn't wait to try this place. We drove up to Kingston NY to walk around and grab lunch. Much to our surprise and disappointment they were closed on Sundays. We added it to our to do list for the next few weeks. We couldn't wait! While driving thru Saugerties yesterday to our surprise... More

Driving through Saugerties and my wife says she's hungry for a hot dog "all the way." I agree and lo and behold on the next block we find this gem, Dallas Hot Weiners. Car parked and us seated and hungry, we order the Dallas Dogs and share an order of fries with the sauce. Good choice, these weiners are very... More

I LOVE businesses like this: no-nonsense, frill-free, hearty food that's cheap and homemade. My boyfriend had been chomping at the bit to try Dallas Hot Weiners and when we found ourselves in Saugerties this weekend, we stopped by for lunch. Set right off of 9W in the middle of town, this place gets a lot of traffic, and with just... More

Looking for a quick bite, but did not want fast food. Saw this place while driving, and made a family choice to go eat there. Great choice, get the dogs with sauce and cheese and the fries with everything is a must as well. Price was easy on the wallet....service was surprisingly good, considering how busy the place was and... More

Hands down mg favorite cheese fries anywhere. My friends all get the Dallas dogs and love them! I have had the burgers here and they're ok.

Growing up, I frequented their Kingston location because it was closer to home. But because it's a family-run business, their recipe and selection is the same. I can say with confidence that I've never had a better hot dog than the ones they sell at Dallas - plump, moist, and served in a soft, steamy bun. They also offer their... More
