I hate to write negative reviews so I waited till now when I have made my third visit. The Hudson Valley is not like NYC we don't have millions of world class restaurants to choose from. So we visit this place with a chopped champion chef and an adventurous interesting menu with high expectations and it's fair to say that... More

Awesome recorded vintage rock & roll played over the sound system (including rarely heard stomping R&B, Rockabilly, and mid-60s Garage Rock). The food is absolutely the best that can be found anywhere in the Woodstock-Saugerties-Catskills area. Fresh seafood & fresh vegetables served up by chefs who obviously enjoy their jobs. The waitresses were very helpful and cheerful as well. Great... More

My husband and I ate here while on our honeymoon, and I cannot speak highly enough of it. The atmosphere was comfortable and unique. Our waitress was fantastic, helping us celebrate our recent marriage by bringing us complimentary champagne and a "high end" bottle of water to take home because she noticed that we both drank a lot of water... Even the bean spread with bread at the beginning of the meal was fantastic! We had the vegan wings in a hot sauce that were incredible! I had the breaded seitan chimmichurri and it was amazing! My husband had a seitan parm sandwich that was great also! Very great, delicious vegan options, I recommend highly!

The blackened string beans are succulent, the jerk chicken is amazing (try it *7 on the Ric-ter scale...spicy), the desserts are to die for!

The doctor is in: My spouse and I recently dined at NWHC. This was our first visit since the menu has changed. We found the new menu very difficult to navigate. It seems that Rick has tweaked the menu to become even more eccentric. I ordered the black bean burger and requested a simple green salad as none of the... More

We ate here with my 3 year old & 1 year old with our friends upon their recommendation, but apparently even they were surprised by the change in menu and lack of selection. This restaurant was chosen because my kids have severe food allergies and we were told they would be accommodating to that, and our friends are vegan. There... More

Make the stop and enjoy the many delicious food options. There is nothing on the menu that you should stay away from. The vibe of the place is cool as well. The staff are prompts and knowledgeable. The menu changes often though as they use fresh and local ingredients.

Cool place, locally sourced ingredients, interesting globe inspired food. Jerk Chicken is legendary here, Kale Salad great. - A couple dishes were a little overly done (heavy sauces) but I really liked and would recommend this place. A unique experience in the area.
