It was our first time there and patrons all new Chef Ric and his staff personally by name which impressed us. Chef Ric came out and met us personally and showed us around. The service was excellent and the food was simply amazing! Clean cut fresh flavors. We ate so much that we didn't have room for desert but would... More

We enjoyed the casualness of this restaurant. Service was friendly. We got the tuna appetizer which was excellent and had a nice combination of favors. The wings were fine but we were expecting more heat given her description. The main course of duck was very good. Overall a nice experience but did not wow us.

My husband and i have been going to New World for years and love it! The food is always delicious - we've never had a bad meal. And we love that they have many options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The menu is unique and creative - unlike many restaurants. The waitstaff has always been wonderful, including the owner.... More

This restaurant is worth the visit. They put their own twist on on menu items. My steak came with an asian barbecue sauce. It was very tasty. The Asian guacamole was very good too. My friends were happy with their meals too. The bar area was hopping and it was a very pleasant atmosphere overall. The service was great, presentation... More

Fun ambiance, tho the bar isn't what it was a decade ago, nor is the food. Still worth a visit if you have never been. Fri night lobster is a good deal.

We've been coming back to New World year after year. Consistently wonderful menu & attentive service. Lots of options for vegetarians. It can get noisy, but that's because the food is so popular. Highly recommended!

We don't eat here regularly, heck live 200 miles away, but we love New World. My sister lives in Woodstock and that's how it was discovered. Everything at this restaurant is special, the food is incredible and the service is great. There's nothing to send back unless you like your salmon cooked all the way through, surprises, like the bread... More

Good clean food, raised right and sourced locally, presented in the most imaginative combinations and tastes by the incredibly talented chef who won "Chopped" twice! This is a popular restaurant for vegans and vegetarians that happens to serve the best steaks. it's a hangout with a good bar scene that families like to visit. All its contradictions come together when... More

We went for Sunday brunch St Patricks weekend. My original impression as we pulled up outside was the place looks like a barn! But on entering the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised, the place is spacious & it has a conservatory style building on the back which makes it very light. There was 4 in our party & we all chose... More
