Bravo!!! Fantastic Indian cuisine, excellent customer service

Karavalli is on par with Indian restaurants in Montreal, NYC and London. Excellent use of spices and seasonings. There for the lunch buffet after a morning movie at Bowtie Cinema downtown. Good variety of food, well labeled with contents, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. With a vegetarian, a gluten free and myself who will eat almost anything we all found delicious items to sample and satisfy. Only negative was the tables were too close together. Restaurant closes in mid-afternoon... More

This place is small and cozy and the staff are helpful. All things are good, but I'd recommend sampling from the range of appetizers to really explore the offerings.

We visited this place on a Sunday of September last, on the way back from Montreal for the lunch and what a moment. It was authentic indian food in this ;remote place on the buffet with a large spread in a small place. The room per se was small but the food was great. there was a wide mixture of... More

I've eaten at this jewel of a restaurant many times and have never ever had a disappointing experience. The lunch buffet is one of the great bargains of Saratoga Springs. And it's a great way to become knowledgeable about Indian cuisines. The restaurant specializes in the dishes of southern India, which are a bit sweeter and less spicy than Punjabi... More

I have family from South India, and I cook. Our family loves Indian food, especially South Indian, and Karavalli offers lots of choices. We had Masala Dosa (excellent) and Manchurian Gobi (East-Asian inspired cauliflower, nicely spicy as appetizers, and then really loved the Meen curry (lovely fish with coconut milk, curry leaves and veggies). Saw sizzling plates of tandoori options... More

Great food and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant is not the best but they make up for this with the quality of the food and service. Certainly will return.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Saratoga Springs. Unassuming, not pretentious. Just wonderful food, efficient service, and an excellent dining value. I am partial to the lunch and Sunday brunch buffets. One is able to sample a variety of dishes, along with salad, bottomless naan, and dessert, at an incredibly reasonable price. And the buffet items are constantly... More

My wife and I had lunch at Karavalli on Friday. We were seated right away, and service was fine. I had the buffet, which had several meat and vegetarian options. Every item I had was very tasty, however, there was no "heat", and was very mild on the spices. As someone who enjoys authentic Indian cousine, it left me wanting.... More

I love Indian food and have been to Indian restaurants all up and down the east coast and this is one of the best I've been to. We were there for lunch on Saturday, and although we were early, they offered to seat us as long as we didn't mind waiting while they finished filling the buffet. Our wait was... More
