After the positive experience at Karavalli Latham, I visited twice their restaurant in Saratoga Springs. Both times I went for the lunch buffet, and both times I've had a great meal. The choice is somewhat limited, but adequate, the taste is excellent, and the buffet price is ridiculously low for such a great food. I will definitively visit again.

I was staying in Saratoga Springs for the races the next day. Tried Karavally because of good reviews on TripAdvisor but didn't expect much. I've eaten in some of the best Indian restaurants in New York and London but this was the best experience I've had. Food was perfectly cooked and spiced. Service was friendly, professional and prompt. Atmosphere was... More

We had a wonderful experience here. Great food and service. Excellent lime/ginger martini to start. Yummm! The only thing that could have been improved was the starter 'house salad'. Iceberg lettuce and cut up raw carrots, celery, cucumbers and not-good tomatoes--a restaurant this good should have good salads.

I was really hoping to find Indian food that was better than home, and unfortunately didn't find it here. Cooking Indian food for the American palate must be sort of like making beer to the American palate, i.e., hitting your target isn't necessarily a good thing. Our fellow diners seemed to enjoy it, though.

Typical Indian in terms of decor and furnishings. Vindaloo was good the heat didn't overwhelm the taste. Nice naan bread. My family enjoyed their dishes. Overall very nice. The 22oz Kingfisher were great.

My sisters and I showed up soaking wet on a very rainy evening, and the mulligatawny soup definitely hit the spot. We asked the server for entrée suggestions, and we did not regret it. We had a signature chicken dish made with a mango sauce, and a vegetable korma. Both great, full of flavor. We also had a lamb dish... More

Just a fantastic lunch. Lots to choose from, all delicious. (OK, Indian restaurants don't major in salads or desserts. But theirs included at least one good choice for each.) And the mains were WONDERFUL. My faves were pakoras, chicken korma, lamb curry, chickpea with spinach saag. I could go on. The service is very friendly and attentive, really sincerely wants... More

This was our first visit to Karavalli, and we will return. The service was warm, helpful, and attentive without being obsequious. The atmosphere is comfortable and attractive. We were a bit concerned because there was only one other table of diners when we arrived, but our concern was unfounded. The food was very good. My husband had shrimp tandoori --... More

Everything was terrific and served by a very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend for a change of pace from everyday cuisine.
