We love summer in Saratoga and making our daily trip to Breadbasket for morning coffee and pastry or to pick up delicious sandwiches for lunch. Great specials every day, interesting sandwich selections or you can create your own. Vegan/vegetarian friendly. You can also eat there - they have nice outdoor seating - but we usually take out.

They do a wonderful job here. Good variety of well made sandwiches. Right across from a beautiful park. Outdoor seating is great. You will enjoy this place.

If you are celebrating any special occasion for which a cake is part of your menu, this is the place to get the cake! Many times you get a cake where the frosting is great but the rest of it is just so-so or the cake is delicious but the filling or frosting is not so good. A cake from... More

We got here extra early one Saturday morning. You enter and get into a line to place your order--whether it is take out or sit in. There were lots of pastries, including hot cross buns, that unfortunately weren't "hot" or even "warm" but tasted delicious anyways. We ordered a sandwich and a smoothie. The breakfast sandwich was delicious--two eggs and... More

The Breadbasket is a must for breakfast! Whether it's a flaky bearclaw or delicious French toast you can't go wrong! I've been visiting them since they were located on the front porch of a house on Ludlow Street and they have only gotten better! Love this place!

Don't recommend to tourists. Felt like we weren't wanted and the lady at counter was rude and abrupt. Food was excellent though!

Love the cupcakes. Wish I could say the same about the rest. Service is disorganized. There is such potential here.

The baked goods, especially the cupcakes, are phenomenal. You might as well pick any other lunch place in town if you want actual sustenance.

You walk through the Hobbit hole of a front door, and you are in a land of the best breads, soups, sandwiches, drinks (from tea and coffee to healthful smoothies) and desserts imaginable. The cinnamon raisin bread is incredible and the cinnamon swirl French toast with real maple syrup could make one an addict. The cupcakes and other desserts are... More
