Love this place

Such a cute restaurant, love every inch of it, hand painted tables, barstools...great art everywhere. The menu is filled with fresh combinations, could have chosen anything and it would have been wonderful. I had tortellini with smoked chicken in a Dijon sauce, amazing. Dinners come with salad, I... read more

I've gone to Scallions several times over the last few months and each time I'm more and more impressed with the menu. I have gone with friends, family and even had a business dinner with 14 people during a snow storm. They accommodated our group's needs, never missed a beat and I didn't catch her name, but one of the... More

Scallions offers an eclectic menu which reflects it's decor, too. It's light and bright and accented with colorful art. There's everything you'd want for lunch from sandwiches & paninis to some ethnic offerings. We enjoyed the curried chicken salad plate and the appetizer sampler with hummus, grilled shrimp & naan- like bread which was so fresh and warm. Service is... More

My husband and I have gone to Scallions for years, but more often than not as of late, the service has become unprofessional. I do not know if it is the lack of training or the total misconception that because you are in Saratoga "they will come", but we will not be back. First let me say we have always... More

We ate at Scallions on a Friday night - but not in the busiest season, which made for a nice dinner and visit with relatives.

I went to Scallions for lunch following the recommendations found here. I was able to scope out the menu beforehand to see what was available. Upon seeing duck on a salad, I knew what I would be getting. My salad was served with two large pieces of warm duck thigh on a bed of spinach with dried cranberries, chopped pecans,... More

On a four-night visit to Saratoga recently we made it a point to revisit Scallions on Lake Avenue. The place is a lovely oasis just off the main drag with lots of classy, artistic touches. The food was excellent and once again they easily accommodated my husband who is vegan. We will return on our next visit.

My wife & I walked in for dinner last Saturday and were seated immediately. There were only 2 small tables open so I would get a reservation next time. I had a smoked pork chop with a maple syrup and horseradish sauce with caramelized onions. My wife had a veggie dish, wild mushroom ragu. Both dishes were served perfectly with... More

A lot of restaurants in Saratoga are closed for lunch, but we were happy to visit Scallions for a second lunch in oh so many years. The place is very clean and the service is very good. We were there on a Wednesday, and the place was full both inside and outside on the sidewalk-side dining. The portions are very... More
