Rustic Place Good Food

We liked this restaurant a lot on a recent trip to Saratoga. Great ambiance and friendly staff and very good food. Well located and nice that it was within walking distance to The Hampton Inn we stayed at.

A very quaint place to get good american fare, with the touch of old style decor. The food was delicious, I recommend getting the turkey diner which was very moist and not overly spicy. During the good weather you can dine it or out on the patio.

Excellent food and great service,it reminds us of a quaint English eatery in the countryside.I enjoyed the turkey dinner with stuffing and potatoes, the fish was excellent and the brownie desert was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

We always have dinner here when in Saratoga and always enjoyed it but not this time! The restaurant was packed as was the bar. They don't take reservations and we had a very long wait. We would have taken a table on the patio but it was right in front of the band so that would have ended any thoughts... More

Went here after the races. Read there reviews on line and they lived up to them. Waited at the bar for about 15 min for a table for 2. Bartenders were nice and attentive. Food was very good and waitress very nice. Manager even asked us if everything was ok. Very busy yet the wait for our food was not... More

We have visited Saratoga frequently but had never been here. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for the first time and down the block is the Olde Bryan Inn - not only very historical but with great food and service, and someplace we will be back to visit. We weren't that hungry and so went n for some drinks... More

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here after a day at the races. We arrived early and were seated immediately. The wait staff was attentive and the food was outstanding. The filet mignon melted in your mouth and the chicken medallions with broccoli, sun dried tomato and artichokes in a cream sauce over pumpkin ravioli was delicious. We... More

We came for dinner due to the historic nature of the facility rather than based on the strength of the menu. Let me make clear that we were not at all disappointed: service was friendly, if a bit spotty; room was comfortable, if a bit noisy; food was fine, if a bit pedestrian. We will certainly return, but this is... More

My husband and I ate dinner here and the food was great. Atmosphere was loud, but nice. Loved the decor. I had the country fried chicken, husband had shrimp portabello, both were excellent, and very filling! Don't forget the dessert, because the tollehouse cookie sundae was to die for. We shared it, as it came with two spoons, and it... More

I just had a terrific birthday dinner here with 5 other guests. The food was exquisite as usual and the service was top notch. (Thanks Betty). I have been eating here for many years. This is one establishment that "Gets It". The food is always wonderful and consistent. The success of this restaurant is no coincidence. The quality and care... More
