Great service, good food, an enjoyable time overall. Appetizers were great and served promptly. Our waitress was attentive and prompt.
It was very crowded and I am glad I had reservations. The food was down home, casual and very good. It was a little noisy because it was so crowded, but we didn't care since the food was so good.
Really good food in a historic buildings and even has ghosts. We've eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. The bruschetta is amazing as is the mac and cheese . Definitely save room for some chocolate mousse for dessert.
We had another wonderful lunch here today! Never disappointing! Our server, Jocelyn was a delightful young lady. Always smiling, attentive and friendly. We loved the the prime rib sandwich with au jus. The service was outstanding. We sat in the old livery area and it...was beautiful. The old stonework was stunning. Always a treat to get out especially on a nasty cold NY day to have lunch in such a great place! Looking forward to our next lunch there!More
Very popular and busy spot located in a fabulous old stone building. Make your reservations early! The food is good and the setting wonderful.
Great cozy spot for lunch or dinner. Old warm charm with stone walls, wood beams, wood burning large fireplace used on cold days. Bar area is a bit small but very welcoming with mugs hanging from ceiling, fire roaring in fireplace, stone walls and the...wood beams are very inviting for a drink while waiting for your table. They offer regular known beer along with local craft beers with wine and spirits. Had lunch which was very good including soup, salad, stir fry, muffins. Food was very good, service was also prompt and good. Moderate pricing for all makes this a great stop in Saratoga to have drinks and food.More
Made reservations for Sunday night because the reservations fill up quickly! The husband and child were taking me out for my 52nd. This is one of my favorite places. I can't vouch for many of the dishes because I get the gorgonzola encrusted NY strip...every time. Every time. It's that good. Perfectly cooked every time. The child isn't adventurous but had a cheese burger that looked like it could be on an advertisement. Lots of cheese, on a big fluffy roll. Husband got fish and chips and reported it delicious. Service was great. Susan our server made sure we wanted for nothing and our water glasses were always full. No room for dessert though. Strongly recommend the OBI but make reservations! Even on a Sunday night it was busy.More
Wonderful meal and atmosphere. Was a very busy evening and we still were served fast. The place was packed, but we got seated outside in the enclosed and heated porch area--which was a nice atmosphere too! Short Rib Mac & Cheese, Ravioli, and Pork Chop...were the three orders for dinner during our visit. All very tasty! We all had enough room for chocolate mousse, sorbet and cheesecake! So tasty!! Check it out when you are in the area. Parking is close by at the hotel--stop in and get an okay first though, we found a spot on the street.More
The Olde Bryan Inn has great atmosphere and the server did a good job but the hostess was snooty and even though we had reservations we still had to wait. Parking was difficult. My steak was supposed to be medium but came out rare. Also,...it came with simple green beans and a baked potato, which was boring. Even if the steak were cooked correctly, it was not worth $37. My wife had the bourbon salmon which she liked very much but her sides were boring too. Disappointing experience. We spoke with another couple the next morning who were also unhappy with their food at the Olde Bryan.More
We love places with history and character and this place definitely had that! We came here to celebrate my son and daughter-in-law's anniversary! . I told them about it when we made reservations and they wished them a "Happy Anniversary" as soon as we walked...in. They said they were a little behind on the reservations that night but we did not wait any longer than 5 minutes. Our server was wonderful and I wish I remember her name. She took our drink order and brought us bread right away. They were out of the prime rib because it goes fast so I opted for the open faced turkey sandwich. It was delicious! My DIL got it too and we both enjoyed it! My husband got the Gorgonzola Encrusted NY Strip which he said was excellent! My son got the short ribs with gouda mac & cheese which he really liked.. He didn't see it had mushrooms but they were easy enough to pick out. I tasted the mushrooms and the short rib mac & cheese and they were great! We all had dessert - Apple Crisp with Ice Cream, Creme Brulee, and Chocolate Chip Walnut Pie. Our waitress wrote happy anniversary on the apple crisp since my son and DIL were sharing it which was a very nice way to help celebrate! We thoroughly enjoyed everything and it was a great place and atmosphere to celebrate!More
Traveled for our anniversary and booked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. So happy we made this choice for dinner! This restaurant was busy and cozy. Be sure to park in the hotel parking lot next door. The best french onion soup we have ever...had! The open prime rib sandwich was delicious as well as the country fried chicken. Our waitress was friendly and even took our family photo to print and send home with us! If we are back in the area we will definitely return.More
A dinner highlight for sure. Packed on a weekday and a short wait even with a reservation We had the fried chicken dinner and the salmon Both highly recommended. Go for the speciality drinks! Great ambiance.
We had a very good dinner in a very comfortable old school environment. Service was very good and the before dinner drink at the bar while waiting for our table was excellent.
If you have never been there before, finding a parking place is confusing. After parking across street, we saw a parking lot with spaces next to the building. I had made reservations online and was asked for a confirmation #, which I did not have....I am guessing my reservation never went through as I had never received a confirmation #. Fortunately, they offered us a table in the heated patio. Dinner was satisfactory, but nothing to get excited about. My cordon bleu was a disappointment. We would not return.More
