If you want southern fried chicken this is as good as it gets. Good southern sides to go with the chicken. Service was friendly and prompt We did not try anything but the chicken, everyone in our party was happy with it

The clams were good, but the fried chicken and collard greens had to made by somebody who had never been south of Albany. Dry, bland chicken, even adding salt did not help it. Greens were undercooked and rubbery. I don't get all the rave reviews. Popeye's, if they had one here, would be a way better choice.

Stopped at Hattie's because we heard their chicken was really good - and it did not disappoint! Great chicken and terrific sides. Their "salad" was awesome, very different. Dined outside and it was a nice, fun spot. Would definitely go again :)

We've been to just about every restaurant in Saratoga and this is the most unique and character oriented one with the best southern food in the north. The jambalaya is out of this world good. So much flavor. Everything works perfect together and the portion is huge. The soft shell crab app was well done as well with a nice... More

Delicious fried and grilled chicken with a very good selection of side dishes. Good for a quick meal with friends or family.

Every time we go to Saratoga Springs, Hattie's is a "must" stop. We love their fried chicken, their jerk chicken, the sweet potatoes, and the mash potatoes!!! The food is delicious!!! The only problem is that I never seem to have room for dessert!

We have never been to Saratoga Springs, NY. Friends said we needed to try Hattie's Restaurant. Our friends were right!! They do not take reservations so we arrived at 7:15PM and were seated immediately. Keeping in mind that the Race Track does not open until July 18. We started sitting outside but then changed to inside for the AC. Our... More

After years of living and working in restaurants in Saratoga we have only frequented Hattie's twice. Both times we were disappointed. The first time we went in expecting to have the best fried chicken in the world after hearing rave reviews on the restaurant that is well known in the area. The restaurant was not busy, and the service was... More

Had dinner at Hattie's this past Saturday night. We started out in the bar at the back of the place with the new bartender Jay. This is a great little bar that is basically a tent structure. We sat at the bar enjoying cocktails and watched the Belmont Stakes. Sitting in that bar you definately get that southern feel even... More

I went to Hattie's because I am obsessed with fried chicken. The menu offered 2 selections. Chicken and waffles and a fried chicken platter. The fried chicken platter consisted of multiple pieces of chicken and home fries and grits. It was lunch time so I opted for chicken and waffles. The menu stated one piece of dark and one piece...
