It looked great - a cozy restaurant with memorabilia on the walls. It sounded great - fried chicken specialist. But unfortunately, the food felt a bit fatigued. The fried chicken was okay, but for a featured dish with so many positive reviews, we expected juicy, succulent chicken with extra crispy batter. That chicken was served room temperature and the chicken... More

Hattie's is just a great spot for southern food in Saratoga. After a day at the races a good spot for drinks and dinner. Had soft shell crab this trip. Very good. The fried chicken and other southern items are great. If you do not have time for dinner you can at least try the chicken at the track.

We just had Hattie's chicken an wing sauce, again! It was awesome, like always. People have to go out of their way to eat this chicken with their "special" sauce. You can also buy their sauce at the restaurant. If your in Saratoga Spring or at the race track, you must eat there! We will be there again soon. Thumbs... More

Make sure you find this gem on Phila Street when in downtown Saratoga. Tight dining room and really nice patio give you ample options to sit and enjoy fantastic Fried Chicken and Ribs. Could serve the gravy a touch hotter but otherwise a fantastic meal with great atmosphere and service!

Good food served in generous portions, nice outdoor seating. Best hush puppies ever! Excellent fried chicken and catfish.

We heard good things about this place. It certainly was crowded on the Friday night we went. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown for the most part. Notable exceptions were the fried chicken and the chicken wings appetizer. Both were delicious. On the hand, the following were letdowns: cuke salad, cranberry cole slaw, hush puppies, cornbread, biscuits, rice and beans... More

Fried foods, cajun, some good variety. We had a shrimp special and fried chicken. Very tasty. Pecan pie somewhat dry. Servings large.

Hattie's is a staple in Saratoga Springs: always packed with patrons and always serving great chicken and other staples. The service was fine but the host was a little full of himself and had few customer service skills. This was off-putting but the quality of the food more than made up for his attitude. We ate outside and the crowd... More

Stumbled upon this as we were walking to a restaurant I knew. Although not very big inside, there is more than ample seating in a covered terrace area and other outside seating as well. The gazpacho was just the thing for a hot summer night and the fried chicken lived up to its reputation. But two of us could have... More

If you want delicious fried chicken, this is the place to be! Hattie's is a small restaurant with friendly staff and a no-fuss atmosphere. I recommend it for a good meal in a casual setting. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside, not oily or overbattered, and moist on the inside. The batter could have used more seasoning, but... More
