Best Sub in Saratoga, hands down!

If you love a good deli sandwich you must visit Roma Imports in Saratoga Springs. The sandwiches and salads are fresh sliced/ made to order. Bread choices are their sub roll and a variety of soft bread types. I recommend the roll, it is crusty, yet soft and fresh and make the sandwich... read more

The delicious bread is what makes the sandwiches so great. The crust is crispy yet chewy with a soft interior. I do wish they would upgrade the pickles that come with the sandwich. They taste like a cheap supermarket brand.

Much like opening up your kitchen and having all sorts of options. I believe this is primarily a take-out sandwich shop. However, the meat choices are very broad. Lots of choices of meats, cheeses, etc. at a very reasonable price. The order line may seem long, but moves quickly. And you'll have a delicious sandwich.

The delicious bread is what makes these subs. They are very generous with their portion of meats and cheeses I like the Italian combo with oil and vinegar.

They were very rude and pushy to my elderly mother on our last visit, despite there not being any other customers in line. There are plenty of other choices, where customers are treated with respect. I will never return!!

If you are driving by Exit 15 on the Northway in NY, I highly recommend you plug Roma Importing into your navigation and swing by this Italian deli. The 15 minute detour is well worth the time! This past trip I ordered a prosciutto/mozarella hero with oil/vinegar, tomato and some dried basil. Then we tried the Italian sub, with italian... More

Went here after they moved from Broadway (how many years ago? I don't know, but it's been a while) for the first time this July. Will never go again. It was filthy. Picked up several items from the refrigerated cases and everything I touched was past it's expiration date. Actually bought a couple of things (packaged, I wouldn't buy anything... More

A lot of special shops in Saratoga, but Roma's always has something I must have. Vin cottos, pickled veggies, etc. They're famous for their subs and rightfully so. Great to take to the track which I've done for decades. My favorite is the Italian with hot peppers. Unfortunately, they claimed not to have hot peppers on Saturday!? After the usual... More

Best subs in saratoga, reminds me of the North End in Boston! Really crowded all the time, so expect to wait, and like any quick Italian place you better have your order ready when they ask you if you're next. Love them.

First, these are not the biggest subs in town (clearly that title easily goes to Marino's Pizza) but they are great and big enough for a hearty appetite. Great selection of quality meats, cheeses, dressings, pickles and olives. Sandwiches are either on sub rolls or on triple decker slices of nice bread. Other goodies include: great eggplant Parm, great hot... More
