September Friday nite, with wedding parties all over town, dinner at Capriccio -- off main street but worth the walk down the block on a great fall evening didn't see the patio, didn't face the memorial day to labor day crowds, quieter than the pubs 'n' grub houses (several of which are great places, if loud), didn't get to check... We went to dinner in Saratoga at Cafe Capriccio's. The patio opened at 5, we were the first guests. After being seated we noticed how FILTHY the place was. The floor was covered in glass shards, and shriveled up remnants of past customer's dinner. We had a lovely (sarcasm) view of some gas meters. When our food arrived one of... More

This tiny place in Saratoga has about 10 tables and a bar with no more than 6 seats. It's loud but in a good energetic way. Food is outstanding. I had a Neapolitan style pizza with a ricotta stuffed crust.

Three of us enjoyed our Saturday night dinner over July 4th weekend. Seated without a reservation without a problem inside (many diners eating outside). Shared two excellent appetizers (mixed cured meats/cheese/salad and eggplant with 4 Cheeses), went well with house wines by the glass. Pasta dishes were very good - arabbiata sauce has a good kick. Too full to have... More

After hearing some questionable reviews we (4) found Capriccio to be a very pleasant experience. Both from the attentive and informative service and the food. My wife and I shared the eggplant chicken pizza and a shrimp appetizer. Our friends had the eggplant and a sausage and rigatoni dish. All were quite good.

I chose this restaurant for Mother's Day as we had visited in the winter. The meals and selections are excellent. Extensive wine list. Dining inside the restaurant is simple and elegant. We have dined outside twice in May on small covered patio. Many of the selections are wood roasted in the stone pizza oven which is visible from the window... More

Dined here on a Friday night, Memorial Day wkend. Had no idea what to expect, as I was w/ a group of 8 and did not make the reservation myself. I was delighted at this sophisticated, friendly, intimate (but in no way fussy) restaurant. Cocktail (pear martini) was first rate. I tried a starter of wood-roasted oysters on half-shell. Altho... We went for the save with living social deal...fell in love. The thin crust pizza was amazing, and the house gelato, and the house cappuccino! Would return and reccomed!

This was our first time trying this restaurant. We have been visiting for three years about twice a year and wanted to try something new. The prices are perfect and the ambiance is great. It's not a large restaurant and has a cozy feel. We started with the beet salad with Gorgonzola. Was relish. For dinner I got their specialty... More
